Ducks strong-side wingers are getting jumped far too often by pinching defensemen or high F3s on outlets. It's been the primary source of the seemingly endless defensive breakdowns this season #FlyTogether

Puck management at the bluelines is incredibly important. This turnover from Granlund (great play from Thompson) proves costly, as Luneau is scrambling to close a gap and angle against one of the biggest, fastest forwards in the sport 3-3 #FlyTogether

Tall Kid™️ has been buzzing through this opening period. He’s driving his line with quality forechecks and small-area cycle sequences Congrats, Roger #FlyTogether

Roger McQueen first NHL goal (on a Disney-owned network). Point shot finds its way to 95, in the mid slot, off the end wall 3-1 ANA #FlyTogether

Buffalo gets one back. That goal sequence started when Dahlin jumped the Ducks winger (Greer, I think) on a LaCombe outlet, as the Anaheim breakout issues continue 2-1 ANA #FlyTogether

Broken drop pass off entry finds Gauthier on the weak side from the right dot. He wasn’t missing that one. The monkey has been removed 2-0 ANA #FlyTogether

Ducks get a lucky break as a LaCombe shot pass deflects off Granlund’s right skate 1-0 ANA Here come the Grannies #FlyTogether

Cutter Gauthier robbed by Ellis in tight on the man-advantage A plague upon thy house of the snake that bit Gauthier #FlyTogether

LaCombe’s really been sneaking down the half wall to the top of the circle when Anaheim is cycling in this game, taking advantage of that high releasing F3 and opening up a lot of soft ice in the middle #FlyTogether

Couple things I’m liking early from the Ducks in this one: -Consistent high F3 on cycles, allowing D to activate more frequently -Forwards doing well to track back to their coverage spots when breakouts when D are in trouble ##FlyTogether
