Savannah Paranormal Detective Agency 3 is being released chapter by chapter each week until Halloween. Is it a simple humorous romp dealing with monsters in the American South, or is it all one giant Catholic morality tale? Check the comment to read it for free.

Props to Representative Anna Paulina for deleting the false Council of Nicaea banned the Book of Enoch post. Credit is due there; hopefully this will help those interested in the Church. For those interested, I wrote an article about Enoch & UFOs with an Ethiopian deacon...

In the article, I, a Catholic, and the deacon take a look at why UFO-interested people latch onto the Book of Enoch, and what the Ethiopian Orthodox Church teaches about the meaning of the book. Hint: Cain and Seth's children intermarrying. patrickabbott.net/p/book-of-…

On this episode learning Christian history: the Council of Nicaea did not discuss books of the Bible. It discussed the nature of Jesus. To reject Nicaea is to reject Jesus being God the Son, part of the Trinity.

For those who want an Ethiopian Orthodox perspective, I (a Catholic) co-wrote an article about Enoch and the UFO craze with an Ethiopian Orthodox deacon. patrickabbott.net/p/book-of-…

I feel like a broken record, but if you want to see based books succeed in a depraved world where woke content/modern ideologies are in everything, we need to get the word out. Lots of people are tired of the mainstream media captured by woke organizations forcing their perversities and other nonsense into media. They don’t know what’s safe. That’s why Spotlight on Indie exists. Indie creators are not beholden to anyone but themselves and their readers. But we need to get the word out. Spotlight doesn’t add the books like other platforms do. It’s left to the authors and small publishers so they can have control over their content, unlike other book platforms. We (owner and volunteer mods) simply give submitted books a quick review to keep the catalog free of unwanted content. Advertising of the platform is on a small budget, so any word of mouth and sharing on other social media is appreciated. Thank you for your support of this project. It’s for the indie author community and readers who just want to feel safe from unwanted surprises in their media that this has been created.

Gabriel Knight had the dream life. He’s an author who owns a rare book store and solves paranormal crimes in the Deep South. Lucky guy.

We're going to put AI in its place so it helps people while not robbing humanity of dignity and beauty... and we're going to do it while proclaiming the Kingdom of God, and there's not a thing you can do to stop us!
There are people out there expressing critical support for the pope as the main figure articulating a coherent anti-AI philosophy. Not just Aristotelianism, but honest to god Thomism is coming back in a big way. It must be resisted at all costs.

With aliens not panning out as Trump didn't declare disclosure despite false UAP and religious prophets saying he would, it looks like it's back to the 1980s and saying nuclear war is looking "as likely as ever". nitter.gq/DSDOConnor/status/2117…

I love it when people try to put me down using the fact I am a fiction writer. Yeah, I tell people that. The shame is on when I use critical thinking and others don't.

Rifftrax Experiments of MST3K are a return to form. It just goes to show that the Scifi Channel days were peak MST3K, and that the writers Joel brought on for Netflix and the independent effort were too bland, PC, and modern boring compared to Mike Nelson and the boys.

Everyone always plays the clip of Picard verbally pile-driving Commander Maddox, but that's not really the important part of the episode. Due to a shortage of qualified legal personnel, as well as an asshole JAG (which NEVER happens in the carbon 'verse), Commander Riker was pressed into service acting as the legal representation for the aforementioned scientist (who literally wanted to vivisect Commander* Data). And Riker swallows his personal feelings - of which he naturally has many - and does his duty, to the point where he felt like shit about it afterwards. Data reminds him that without Riker doing what had to be done, the asshole JAG's initial ruling would have stood, and Data would be in bitty bits. But the below image reminded me of that reality, which only further drives home how far Star Trek has fallen. The diaper-clad failures responsible for SA could never even conceive of someone putting their personal feelings aside and doing what has to be done, no matter how distasteful it might be. To them, their personal feelings are everything, and no one's ever allowed to be uncomfortable. And to think we used to get 23 episodes an orbit of the former, and they can't even manage 10 of the latter. (* - Colloquially, it's polite to give Lieutenant Commanders verbal promotions, mostly because it's easier to say.)
