I've noticed this in the DFW area. If Paxton does win (and I anticipate he will), the final few weeks of gas prices will have saved him. Gas at $4+ would've cooked him for sure.

One will vote for anyone but Abdul El-Sayed simply because he's a Muslim. She's has no reason other than his religion.

Yeah, I basically doubt the polling in TX, because the rednecks always choose their culture war. I think it'll be close, but I think Paxton hangs on by a point or two. My gut tells me this is how the Senate will go. Hopefully, I'm wrong and Dems get in outright majority.

Yeah, pretty skeptical of this. I'm in TX, and that margin between Talarico and Paxton sounds very implausible. It will likely come down to 1-2%. I wouldn't be surprised to see Paxton win beyond the MoE. Don't get high off this shit, please.

Rural Hood County, TX Trump voter panel on James Talarico and trans issues:
I don't know if I'm going to vote in the Senate race. I don't really like either one of them, but Talarico's stance on letting boys use girls locker rooms and play female sports—I have a daughter who is gay and she is a trail runner.
She was recently accused of being a male running in a female race. She was born female and she looks female just because she has short hair and it was a huge deal a couple years ago and she is totally against males being in female races.
