Former BBC Panorama producer @philcraig says the Beeb has been taken over by a “radical generation” and that “all the mistakes” in its Gaza coverage “seem to be in the same direction.”
He points to the al-Ahli hospital blast, when the BBC rushed to blame Israel for what turned out to be a misfired Hamas rocket, and warns this kind of poor journalism has helped fan fires around the world — including literal fires at synagogues.
Gerald and I are proud to call Phil a friend and colleague. Thank you for the clarity and courage in calling out your former employer.

Elected by who? You’re elected by the British people to serve the British people, not to butt your nose into other country’s affairs. Do the job you’re paid to do and serve the UK

You're not colonial overlords anymore. Judea and Samaria aka the 'West Bank' is Israel, not the UK.
Focus on the shit storm in the UK instead of being f*cking morons in another country.

Pains me to say it, but there needs to be an independent inquiry into anti-semitism at the BBC. Lucie Kon's allegations - some of which are set out in this @TimesRadio interview - are so serious they can't be brushed aside. Over to you @lisanandy.

Antisemites so badly want there to be a genocide in Gaza so they can justify another genocide of Jews.

Kneecap made a special appearance at the Macklemore concert in Dublin tonight. “F**k Zionism” and “F**k Israel” rang out. The violent rejection of Jewish self-determination performed to thousands. How is this different to a Nazi rally.

Youssef Siher—a Palestinian who, unfortunately, was born in Italy—is mastermind behind the social media page "Movimento 17 ottobre" (October 17th Movement) and is currently under investigation for incitement to commit a crime. He is the one responsible for this chaos in Italy. Let’s make him famous.
Here is who creates chaos in Italy: 30 year old behind "October 17" platform has been identified and his premises searched. He is a second-generation Italian of Palestinian descent. Through the platform, he organized fluid protests—employing a "be water" tactic—with weekly Saturday gatherings across eight cities, a "Map of the Revolt", and a handbook titled "Revolution: Instructions for Use".

Harvesting olives is the new flotilla. Pro-Palestinian groups around Europe are paying for hundreds of activists to head to the West Bank in order to provoke confrontation.

In November of 2023 when dozens of Jewish children were languishing in captivity in the tunnels of Gaza, families came to UNICEF's Toronto office to BEG for these children.
Here is the response they got from UNICEF's Linton Carter:

The U.S. spends $8.53 billion a year on its military presence in Germany.
It spends $5.69 billion a year on its presence in Japan.
It spends $4.25 billion a year on its presence in South Korea.
But we only ever hear about military aid to Israel.
Isn't that weird?
Important update for constituents of Norwich South:
Today Israeli authorities barred me and other European elected representatives from entering the West Bank to meet Palestinian students and civil society leaders, as part of a @ProgIntl delegation.
We knew that by crossing into the occupied Palestinian territories, we risked being detained, interrogated and turned away by Israeli authorities. And that, alas, is exactly what happened.
For more than eight hours, we were held, interrogated and made to feel as though we had done something wrong simply by attempting to enter.
The simple truth is we had done nothing wrong. We went to show our support for the Palestinian people and highlight the terrible injustice and violence being perpetrated against them. We want to ensure that people back home do not look away from the reality of what is happening.
Ultimately, we went to show solidarity. But we left with an even greater determination to speak out. We will not be silenced, and we will not look away. None of us should.
