I have noticed people arguing over NFL graphs, so I am going to illustrate something I thought was well known (apparently, it is not).
Here is JJ McCarthy's aDOT at 6 top industry sites (two I know intimately).
StatRankings: 12.0
PFR: 12.0
Sumer: 14.76
PFF: 15.6
Fantasy Points: 11.57
FTN: 10.9
None of them are wrong; they are all run by sharp people, but they use slightly different equations (except PFR & StatRankings).
So graphs will look different from site to site.

Lots of praying in Miami this season 🙏
I’m PUMPED to roll out new metrics @StatRankings📊
First up: UnCatchable Air Yards, better known as “Prayer Yards”🙏
Last season, Calvin Ridley led all players with 947 Prayer Yards👼

We are close to rolling out some pretty sweet prediction markets/betting & player prop tools, integrated with all our advanced data @StatRankings.
Rather than add another, more expensive betting subscription, we are including it in statrankings+ with NFL/NBA & the AI connector, and increasing that price (modestly).
All existing subscribers (& those who smartly sign up before the price increases later this week) will be locked in at current rates.

Quarterbacks creating out of structure.
That’s interesting. 🤔

Have you ever been mad at your QB for throwing a checkdown with no chance of picking up the first down? Well luckily I haven't because my quarterback is Dak Presscott and he rocks
Anyways these are QBs the last year and a quarter when they NEED to push the ball downfield

The Bengals spent an offseason building an under-center offense.
Last year: 5.1 yards a play from it
This year: 3.3
Dead last in the NFL on 54% more snaps.

If we're relitigating Drake Maye's 2025 season because of how bad he's been in 2026, sure seems like we should be doing the same thing for Matthew Stafford, who keeps turning the ball over, too.
Pleased to announce the launch of YUNO Sports, a data analytics site that my lovely wife and I built (literal mom and pop operation)
The idea: sports data methods have lived with coding dorks for too long. YUNO is about empowering to do it yourself 🧵 yunosports.com/?v=2

Adjusted Run Blocking Yards (ARBY) Running Back Matchup grades for Thursday Night Football via @StatRankings 📊
I split the last seven games of ARBY + RB YPC Data, excluding Week 18.
In Week 1, top-ranked LAR & BUF posted a combined 45-299-1 (6.64 RB YPC)🔥

If he got all of these 18-19 expected points back, and no one else got theirs, he'd still be the 4th-worst QB in the metric.
Almost 70% of his air yards have been uncatchable. I don't blame the receivers, I'd be surprised too if a ball actually got close to enough to catch it.
Please credit @PattonAnalytics for the chart.
