I keep thinking about my dream game and how much easier it would be to make it these days and I find myself running into multiple things. I feel kind of paralyzed by choice. Back when the vibe coding boom started for me I began working on a VR FPS and it is one of my dream projects.
But things have been moving so fast I could have taken on the same project multiple ways by now. It makes me wonder should I wait longer and wait for superior tools? Should I even bother since I think everyone is going to do this at the same time?
I was thinking about literally taking the Doom engine and messing with that with an AI. What do you think an agent can do with the Doom engine? Probably anything and everything in a week.
Now I don't even know what my dream game really is anymore. I don't even know what is going to happen with Nexus. I can literally do ANYTHING right now. Fucking anything right now...

So I have managed to get pretty good at doing most kinds of things use Grok Imagine. And the main tool I am using is the grid setup for organizing source images and character sheets with proper prompting an context memory.
It appears this tool is being phased out or removed entirely as I cannot access it anymore with a fresh project. This forces me to use older projects that still allow the functionality. So its a matter of time, I fear, before I have the tools I have gotten so good at using are removed.
I might have to vibecode something myself that works exactly how I need it to at some point. My most recent music video should show though, I have been improving my workflow though.

Mental state, drained a bit. Lots of blender work and direct dev work lately getting things ready.
I am at a point right now where I can easily see the Nexus get so much traffic simply because people can easily make VRChat worlds now and not have to worry about as many technical details.
This is not a regular mega world setup. This is the starting vestiges of the entire world creation process getting disrupted. You can commission me right now for 1/4 the price if it involves using this setup. There is no reason to pay so much to get a world made anymore. Good news. I think it will take awhile for people to realize this though.
I do see a potential shit storm on its way. Its a good thing I think most of my haters have me muted and they are going to do their absolute best to pretend I don't exist. LOL
Nobody realizes what is coming yet. XD

The VRU Nexus and the ability to build VRC worlds without the need for unity. It's is happening fast. By next month I will be able to retire Oasis 2 and begin getting things setup for event running. Release the blender plugin so people can build complex worlds much easier.

VRU Nexus Blender plugin live test
Today marks the first time I had a chance to test the VRU Nexus Blender plugin externally. There were some hiccups and things to solve but overall it seems functional!
Anyone can build entire worlds inside of The VRU nexus in #VRChat provided they have this Blender plugin. We got the plugin working and the first thing we did was test a couple things and place a pool table. lol
The plender plugin outputs a text file that can either be baked into the world upload itself or loaded externally.
What does this mean? It means we have a resource now where all of the complex stuff around world creation is baseline and the only thing you have to worry about is making a cool space. We have an extensive list of arcade games and props as well as a double video player setup with fully functional options menu for things like epilepsy mode and quality settings.
It's a sandbox inside of a sandbox! The system makes extensive use of light volumes and LTCGI. Its quest compatible. Moving forward I will probably never go back to building worlds the old fashioned way as its completely unnecessary with a setup like this.
Its not going to stop here, not only is this the foundation of The VRU Nexus, but I plan to provide tools to make world building more user friendly than ever.
Worlds built for the VRU Nexus are fully compatible with other platforms such as #NexVR and anything on #BasisVR
I swear man. People critical of Tim Sweeny right now like bro never did anything. I'll have you know I was there 3000 years ago when he setup the most robust software rendering model that every existed. High FPS with color lighting. Large open world environments in an fps. Some of the smartest most reactive AI.
He built a fucking chunk of the entire game industry. Bro did so much. And now we see people acting like he isn't someone just because they are butt hurt about AI changing the industry. I see shit like this and how fake and performative it is and just makes me lose respect.
I don't even want to be a part of an industry if it looks down at a guy like Sweeny. Like if these people were in charge and forced Sweeny out, I wouldn't want to be a part of that garbage fake ass, anti-progress system.
I stopped giving a fuck awhile ago but shit like this makes me even more sure. Its so fucking dumb man. Giving this guy, someone who has done so much for the entire game industry, someone who has been a pillar for so many years, bullying and death threats. All because he is objectively right about new technology and the direction things are going.

Honestly I kind of feel like a lot of people don't understand what I am doing half the time. Either it be with my game dev stuff or my fox posting.

Its a bit too fun to mess with these local gen tools hehe. I am working in Blender though. But I feel like I want to make some kind of virtual work station where I interface with everything while in VR.
If most of the stuff I do ends up just talking to agents and having them do things then a lot can be done with my voice. But then you have a lot of stuff like level design in blender that requires hands on work ect...
There has been a few times where I tweaked a project or asked an AI to do something while in VR at a DJ event. Pop open a window, click a button say something that needs to be addressed.
Times are so weird right now... Most of this shit is really sci-fi right now. Even the hate for AI right now is unironically from some kind of black mirror fucking sci-TV show. Ill be in VR and see people against those damn klankers and I have to kind of ignore it or just avoid the conversation.

Sunday recovery day. I ended up getting too drunk and didn't make it very long into the night. Did get a chance to talk to peeps though. Interesting night indeed on a couple fronts. I legit had no idea that VR full body tracking systems use WMM. World Magnetic Model.
Bro, people figured out how to track world space of earth. lol They line that shit up so we can see our bodies move in VR LOL... Earth apparently has a grid!
Ok I feel like I am about to really line stuff up. I want to lock in. VRU Nexus, commission work. Honestly most of the shit I need to be doing now is not based around tech and comes down to good old fashioned elbow grease. I built the systems, I setup the logic. All the complex shit is mostly done.
The rest of the important stuff left to do is depending on me to just build the areas and begin coordinating with people to make stuff happen. No AI/SI is going be able to do that well enough.
