when meta clearly finds its winning creative - the same ad across multiple ad sets

hubspot are by far the best CRM to work with when running ads imo end to end tracking built into the platform - just select the events and when the sales team change the lifecycle stage, conversions are automatically uploaded to google eg. - user submits form -> sends conversion to google ads - user talks to SDR and is SQL'd -> they update lifecycle to 'Opportunity' -> sends conversion to google ads - user becomes a paying customer -> sales team change lifecycle stage to 'Customer' -> sends conversion to google ads

this year has been the year of AI Max ive run this across a whole bunch of accounts - always initially as A/B split tests it is winning 80-90% of experiments I run with it these are all - excluding brand - conversion tracking set to north star metrics (purchases/demos) sure, there can be a ton of junk in the first 1-2 weeks but after weeding everything out, traffic quaity is actually great

This is a positive result for Google They are constantly testing and changing the SERP to try and make it hard to tell the difference between paid vs organic And for your avg Joe they will now struggle to tell you if they clicked an ad or organic link Most people who aren’t in the internet marketing space probs think all links on Google are organic
Google's AI features aren't the only reason that clicks are dying. This data from @Kevin_Indig & @Similarweb shows Google Ads is playing a huge role. Since 2025 there is a clear relationship between an increases in paid search + declines in organic traffic.

rebuilt my site over the weekend @jacob_jacquet gave me the tip last week to try building designs with @paper the output is so much higher quality than vibe coding straight in the Claude extension in VS Code

bought a mini mic for this tool so can go almost full hands free when promoting click to talk with the mic went with a dji cause they seemed most recommended but feels pretty overkill tbh

if you need only google ads data into a sheet you can run this script - i run this hourly into a sheet to pull spend and conversions every hour use it to manage spend pacing and keep finger on the pulse of accounts for hourly/daily/weekly/monthly pacing
stop paying supermetrics to move your ad data into a google sheet the sheet breaks, the refresh fails at 6am, and you pay per connector per month what you actually need 1. a pipeline that syncs meta, google ads, linkedin, ga4, shopify and hubspot every hour into a warehouse 2. freshness checks and retries, so a failed sync tells you instead of quietly showing old numbers 3. modeled tables. spend, clicks and conversions by day by campaign, one schema across every channel 4. claude code connected to the warehouse over mcp 5. now you ask "blended cac by channel last 30 days vs the 30 before" and it writes the sql 6. turn the questions you ask every week into a live dashboard your team can open once the data is in one place you stop building reports and start asking questions this is the exact thing we built graphed for get started for free - graphed.com/platform?utm_sou…

wild, actually rebuilt this yesterday github.com/MitchAhoy/utter uses groq so 0 cost as their free plan is more than enough for general use
I refuse to pay for Whispr Flow, and I don't have time to vibecode my own. Who's already vibecoded a free/local/open source dictator?
