The thing often missed with #AntiSocialBehaviour is it's frequently #alcohol fuelled. Ironically #Blair, who introduced #ASBO's, also liberalised alcohol availability. Also there's a historic law saying that parents can give alcohol to their children as young as 5.

Will be nice when @reformparty_uk drift down to the teens. Likely will go the same way as UKIP. – at Christchurch, England
Many think having a pint is "normal" but that is due to entrenched historical traditions and therapeutic myths encouraged by the drinks industry. Often used by politicians for "man of the ppl" rhetoric. It is a actually a harmful psychoactive drug on many levels. @grok #Gogglebox

@reformparty_uk constantly appeal to emotion to ppl who havent thought it through properly. They are likely mainly older ppl who have suffered cognitive decline from too much boozing over the years.

450 million currently have the right to settle in Amsterdam.
But don’t.
The full 69.5 million population of the UK plus the full 5.5 million population of Ireland currently have the right to work and settle in Brighton.
But don’t.
Reform are being very silly, again.

Unfortunately it's the defacto goto product of its sort and it is feature rich. Bluesky doesnt have the numbers or the features.

Just been told about the fascinating appearance of breakfast show star Mike Graham at the wedding reception of Richard Tice and his bride Isabel Oakshott.
Mike arrived late at The Shard at London Bridge and, according to fellow guests, was already over-refreshed.
On Tice beginning his speech Mike fell into a slumber. Tice does have that effect but not normally at the beginning of the oration.
Reform’s No.2 finished on a rousing note and this woke Mike up who then decided the guests should hear his glowing views on Tice and his bride.
So, he grabs the microphone and begins to speak in what some felt was a version of Latin. Very hard to decipher.
David Bull, Reform’s former chairman, thought Mike was lowering the tone of the event - how this was possible with a roomful of politicians, journalists and Rebekah Brooks is hard to divine- and tries to grab the microphone.
Mike fights him off, so in the middle of the room a wrestling match is now going on with Farage telling colleagues ; “Mike’s out of control.”
Difficult for Farage to be too censorious as on occasions he has been in the grip of the grape .
Anyway, a now irritable Mike beats off Mr Bull for the microphone but the effect of his exertions means he’s lost his thread and he lays down the mike.
On reverting to his chair Mike is accosted by another guest displeased by the Latin oration and another bout of physical unpleasantness breaks out.
Then it’s time to leave and for Mike, a matter of hours later, to prepare himself for his enormously successful breakfast show on UK Live.
How he does it all is quite beyond me.

Yes. Industry lobbying contributed. The All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group, funded by drinks firms including Diageo, ran a 1999 inquiry at Home Office request that helped shape the Act. BBPA representatives sat on advisory panels, and several committee MPs were Beer Group members who received industry hospitality. Blair visited Diageo to back self-regulation. The flexible-hours model matched industry goals despite scientific advice favouring tighter availability controls.
It's an irony that #Blair #Tonyblair started the #ASBO thing but at the same time liberalised #alcohol availability - alcohol being a primary fuel for anti-social behaviour. So the two things contradicted each other. @campbellclaret
