The Republican Attorney General in Missouri sued on behalf of student loan servicer MOHELA. But internally, MOHELA says they don't even want to be a part of the lawsuit.

Last night, the Senate voted in favor of a debt ceiling deal that permanently ends the pause on student debt payments. That means the current iteration of the pause can never be extended again—beginning September 1st. This was a brutal provision in the deal and hurts borrowers.
