From the first sketches to the final illustration 🎃 #HIPSNNOSES #Gameart #illustration‌‌ #ArtProcess Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our October illustration for HIPS N NOSES! Swipe through to see how it came together. ✏️ 1. Exploring ideas We started with four rough concepts, imagining our characters celebrating Halloween. Different costumes, poses, and compositions helped us explore the mood of each scene. 🎨 2. Developing the chosen concept After choosing a concept, we refined the linework and added base colors, bringing the characters and their costumes into focus. 🌙 3. Building the atmosphere Moonlight, shadows, ghosts, and candlelight brought the Halloween atmosphere to life. Quite a change from the flat colors! ✨ 4. Final details We revisited the expressions and polished the small details to finish the illustration. Our illustrations are drawn by our artists without generative AI, from the earliest sketches to the final touch-ups. Every costume choice, expression, and little detail comes from our team’s own ideas and hands. We’d love to keep sharing the work that goes into these illustrations, alongside the finished pieces. Thanks for following along! 🧡
