So the Democrats took the House and a bunch of Canadians are celebrating like everything's about to go back to rainbows and unicorns. Sadly mistaken. Trump is still the president. The midterms didn't change that, and they never could. Congress isn't the White House. And even if Washington flipped completely, your problems aren't in Washington. They're in Ottawa. Carney's still there. The EU deal's still there. The food prices, the debt, the censorship bills, all still there. America sneezes and Canada catches a cold, but Canada's sickness is homegrown. A blue House in Washington doesn't fix a broken Ottawa. Wake up. The anchor underneath it, midterms change Congress, not the presidency. Trump stays president regardless of last night.

It’s amazing how a lot of careers are made and lost for players in those rooms. It shows you how the majority of guys need just one person to have that belief in them. Scouting is a thankless job and requires so much more than just evaluating talent. You have to battle!!
