I'm calling it now: Fortnite on Linux is going to change the PC optimisation scene.
A lot of these so called "tweakers" are about to get exposed.
Copying and pasting AI slop and Windows scripts isn't going to cut it.
Linux will make the difference between people who actually know what they're doing and the typical "tweaker" you see nowadays very obvious.
Help us bring more awesome games to Linux
This is an open call to Linux distro maintainers and the wider Linux community, with a goal to work together and bring fair multiplayer gaming to Linux players.
We’re rebuilding our Linux anti-cheat into EAC Linux v2 so that Linux players can have a similar level of protection against cheaters as Windows users do.
We’ll pilot EAC Linux v2 with Fortnite first, with wider availability for game developers once we’ve validated its effectiveness.

With Fortnite officially coming to Linux, We will be developing a separate Linux optimisation service alongside Windows.
We're starting the build and testing now, before Fortnite even releases on Linux.
We'll make sure everything is perfected and meets our standards before release.
