A full circle moment realized this week to perform with the remarkable musicians of the @CincySymphony this week - great horn section - guest conductor Marek Janowski led a passionate and powerful Bruckner 9th - a supreme experience - Chapter 6 lives @UC_CCM
Fulfilled one of my sabbatical plans by spending the morning reading in the @nypl after hearing two different symphony orchestras over the past three evenings @carnegiehall @LincolnCenter @nyphil @LAPhil
Reliving last night’s sonic purity and emotional playing of the @nyphil led by conductor and friend #MatthiasPintscher in the US Premiere of his work “Naharot” with soloist @GilShaham concluding with Schoenberg “Pelléas et Mélisande” - #Stunning @LincolnCenter @Opus3Artists
A treasure trove of first and early edition books are to be found at New York City’s Union League Club
Individual and collective music-making was off the charts last night @LincolnCenter with the @nyphil conducted by #MandredHoneck and pianist #VikingurÓlafsson - superb sound from this orchestra through a wide dynamic and emotional range

Smart decision not to be on our bikes today for the annual @BikeTheBurn due to @MHHelene1 affecting @LexingtonKyGov and much of the Southeast - stay safe everyone - hopefully we’ll be on the roads tomorrow and Sunday @drewlandgren @susie410 @Celia410
Words cannot describe the incredible musical insight and artistry of @UC_CCM resident @ArielQuartet this evening with music of Mendelssohn, Matan Porat, and the Schubert String Quintet featuring cellist Paul Watkins - great people - great musicians @uofcincy
Cyclists gather to raise resources to cancer research and patient care. I’m riding for friends and family who have already, or continue to fight this dreaded disease. @RideCincinnati @uofcincy @uc_health @uofcincyfound @UCincyMedicine @uofcincyalumni @jengebrecht
There were fireworks inside the @kauffmancenter from the musicians of the @kcsymphony and new music director #MatthiasPintscher and fireworks outside the hall for the orchestra’s gala. September 7th, 2024 is Matthias Pintscher day in KC
This is smart messaging: A concert. A date. Or a free-phone escape. There’s no wrong way to symphony. @kcsymphony @kauffmancenter @jengebrecht
Fresh off their European Tour, the @kcsymphony with their new music director - #MatthiasPintscher - sound polished and cohesive as they prepare for tonight’s gala. The Pintscher era has begun with great promise and optimism. @kauffmancenter
