The Florida Council of 100 convened its member business leaders alongside policymakers and national thought leaders at its Fall Member Conference for strategic dialogue on the issues shaping Florida’s future.  Discussions focused on the state’s leadership in defense, space, and cybersecurity as well as broader challenges and opportunities related to resilience, innovation, and long-term competitiveness to support the quality of life for Floridians statewide. The conference also featured the inaugural Gold Coast Tech Accelerator Showcase, highlighting Florida’s growing innovation economy and providing participating FinTech and Dual-Use & DefenseTech startups with direct access to Council members to showcase emerging technologies, receive strategic feedback, and explore pathways for growth and partnership in Florida. The program concluded with the presentation of the Governor’s Business Leader Award to Ron Wanek, Founder and Chairman of @AshleyHomeStore, recognizing his leadership and civic impact in Florida and beyond. We look forward to building on these conversations this year and continuing to advance our mission to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of all Floridians. fc100.org/news/florida-counc…
