I had come to know about for a couple of reasons but I had found out it somehow takes place in South Africa. Kinda another odd Tezuka-ism. There are no true Tropical Rainforests that can be considered a Jungle over here. I regret now not trying to find out more about this.
I should point out that I was aware of Jumbo Rico - ジャンボ・リコ It does contain portrayals of characters of what you are actually going to expect but rather a combination of neutral and stereotypical. source: twicomi.com/manga/gakubou_te… -

Past few months I had been trying to watch what I could of Harris no Kaze. Some years ago I had seen that Chiba had this character "Sahara Togo" back in the mid 60s. The way they illustrated them was quite neutral, not like how you’d expect Tezuka or Ishinomori would do.

Sayla's voice actress, Yō Inoue, left Japan from late 1984 to early 1985 because she travelled aboard and was living in India. Because of this, she dropped all her regular roles at the time (including Ran in Urusei Yatsura). Zeta Gundam aired 1985–1986 and she wasn't really able
We gotta end tomino for not putting sayla front and center for everything UC Should've been there in Zeta, CCA, and even Hathaway (somehow)

When male editors believed that shoujo manga protagonists should be modest, Chiba Tetsuya depicted a girl who stands up and counterattacks bullying boys. This scene and the series impressed readers back in the late '50s.

R.I.P. Tetsuya Chiba Heartbreaking stuff to hear as a fan, He did every way in his power to keep the legacy of his colleagues especially to his dearest friend Shotaro Ishinomori alive, Looking at this drawing by him reacting to Fujiko Fujio A's death is just more saddening now.

Oh this is the fight from the trailer is from the beginning of the film with Amuro and Char? Yes, but in the trailer they use two cuts which will be used at the end of the film plus there is a cut in there that's used when Amuro is fighting Gyunei before Char steps in.

Has anyone actually pulled Cowboy Bebop rerun TV ratings in Japan (by region) and VHS/DVD sales?
Claims of Cowboy Bebop Akira Trigun flopping in Japan on release are outright lies whats true is some animes longevity just lasted longer in the west people were talking still about Urotsukidōj and Bubblegum Crisis years after its release

Not much different if anyone has watched RAI International.
Most Japanese people watch daytime TV shows where the Japanese equivalent of James Corden goes to restaurants with the host and goes “ah! oishii!”
