When FTX crashed in 2022, CZ was feasting on the situation, even granted interviews to talk about the FTX downfall.
In 2023, CZ still won’t let the situation slide until SBF (FTX co-founder) was jailed in August 2023.
Hmmm 🤔
Hours ago, Binance got hack for $6.3bn, Elon Musk reacted with “🔥😂” and CZ couldn’t bear it.

CZ WAS A KEY CATALYST FOR FTX BANKRUPTCY: But now he is piss at @elonmusk Troll what an irony..
RECALL:
FTX collapsed in November 2022 after revelations of financial entanglement with Alameda Research and misuse of customer funds.AP News
On Nov 2, CoinDesk reported that Alameda balance sheet was heavily loaded with FTT (FTX’s native token), highlighting the risky ties between @SBF_FTX exchange and his trading firm.AP News.
This sparked fears of insolvency.
Massive customer withdrawals followed as it became clear there was a roughly $8 billion hole (customer deposits had been used to prop up Alameda).Wikipedia
FTX halted withdrawals, then filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Nov 11. SBF resigned (later convicted of fraud and sentenced to 25 years).AP News
CZ (Changpeng Zhao) and Binance accelerated the crisis.Beincrypto
Binance had exited its early FTX investment in 2021 and received a large FTT stake (~hundreds of millions of dollars).Coindesk
On Nov 6, CZ publicly tweeted that Binance would liquidate its remaining FTT due to the “recent revelations.” This drove FTT’s price down and intensified the bank run on FTX.
Alameda’s Caroline Ellison offered to buy the tokens at $22, but it didn’t stop the panic.CNET
On Nov 8, amid the liquidity crunch, FTX asked for help. Binance signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire FTX
On Nov 9, after due diligence showed deeper problems (mishandled customer funds and regulatory probes), Binance pulled out. CZ tweeted roughly “Sad day. Tried.”Reuters
CZ has maintained that the underlying fraud and misuse of funds were the real cause, and his actions merely exposed them; a solvent exchange would have survived the withdrawals. Critics argue the public FTT sale announcement significantly worsened the panic
CZ could have looked for alternative way to handle the crisis and FTX could have still exist till today.

This is the last time I will compromise my Services for an incompetent founder or project.
@LPandaDEX since 2024 has been in contact with me. He told me about he’s project and explained the visions he had for it while trying to convince me to work for him but as a “builder”
“Builder” implying that I would be rewarded for my services after the project hits a certain milestones.
I Turned down this offer and told him “I will not offer my services without payment”
Some months went by, he kept asking for my support to grow the project
Keep this in mind that we had a good relationship in the past (phone calls, lengthy conversations etc). After multiple conversations and consistent pleading from him for me to join the team.
I decided to work with him UNDER AN AGREEMENT/CONTRACT.
In image 2, I referenced that contract (4 months ago) after he paid only 50% ($100)
—> Here’s what the Agreement said:
$200 upfront and this would be the ONLY payment to be made for my service. (3 months validity of contract)
My services included:
-Brand promotion
-Space shilling
-Content creation
-NFT sales

Before you put your money into the next "safe, trust me" pool today, read this.
I asked an AI about the biggest risks of lending stablecoins in DeFi, and it didn't hype me up. It told me what to doubt. 😅
That's @Axiom_protocol. They're building toward what they call an open financial institution, and their tagline says it best: Intelligence That Moves Finance. The idea is reasoning made visible instead of hidden behind hype. Every question becomes a structured record of the reasoning and the uncertainty, so you can revisit a decision instead of just trusting your gut.
Here's how the Decision Room works. One question, three roles:
🔹 An Analyst who breaks your question down and figures out what evidence you'd need to judge it
🔹 An Auditor who combs through the reasoning for claims nobody has backed up
🔹 A Challenger who argues against your thinking and shows you the angles you missed
It even flags what it can't verify instead of pretending to know. Crypto needs more tools that help you think clearly before you move money, and that's why I'm paying attention this early. It's still a public preview. 👀

What We Can Learn From This Binance Hack ?
→ Internal security matters:
A compromised employee device can become an entry point into critical infrastructure.
→ Hot wallets carry risks:
Internet-connected wallets are convenient but expose exchanges to operational security threats.
→ Access control is critical:
Employees should only have the permissions necessary for their jobs.
→ Transaction monitoring matters:
Unusual withdrawals should trigger immediate security checks.
→ Freezing funds helps:
Cooperation between exchanges, blockchain investigators and stablecoin issuers can limit attackers' ability to move stolen assets.
You can have strong blockchain technology, but if the infrastructure controlling your wallets is compromised, billions can be at risk. Stay safe.
BINANCE HACK INCIDENT, $6.3billion ⚠️
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has suffered a massive security breach, with an estimated $6.3 billion in crypto assets affected.
Let's break it down in simple terms.
→ What actually happened?
On October 29, attackers moved billions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency out of Binance-controlled wallets across multiple blockchain networks.
These included:
• Ethereum
• Bitcoin
• Solana
• Tron
• XRP Ledger
• Other networks.
The estimated impact is approximately $6.3 billion.
Binance temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while investigating the incident.
→ How did the hackers get in?
Binance's initial investigation suggests that a DevOps engineer's laptop may have been compromised.
Think of it this way:
Imagine a company employee has access to the control room of a bank.
A hacker compromises the employee's computer and uses that access to reach an internal system.
Instead of breaking into every vault individually, the attacker abuses the system that authorizes money transfers.
→ What is EIP-7702, and why does it matter?
One of the technical mechanisms identified by blockchain investigators involves EIP-7702, an Ethereum feature that allows a normal wallet to temporarily delegate certain operations to smart-contract code.
In simple terms:
A wallet can authorize another piece of software to perform actions on its behalf.
The attacker allegedly abused this mechanism to change how a Binance hot wallet behaved.
According to TRM Labs:
- The attacker prepared multiple authorization signatures.
- One authorization successfully matched the wallet's transaction counter.
- The wallet was made to execute malicious instructions.
- Funds were transferred to attacker-controlled addresses.
- The attacker continued sweeping incoming funds.
This is particularly concerning because the attack was not simply about tricking an ordinary user into signing a transaction.
It involved the infrastructure responsible for authorizing exchange wallet transactions.
the binance hacker just did something genius and it should scare you
tether froze $1.5 billion in stolen USDT. circle froze $800 million in USDC. everyone's celebrating like the problem is solved
meanwhile the hacker deposited the stolen USDT on aave, borrowed ETH against it, and walked away. because USDT can be frozen. ETH can't
he's never paying it back. he doesn't need to
tether and circle just proved they can freeze billions in seconds. and the hacker just proved that if you know how defi actually works, none of that matters
the freeze saved some of the money. but the smartest money was already gone before anyone pressed the button

→ Will Binance users lose their money?
Binance says:
User funds are safe.
It will cover the losses using its SAFU fund and company funds.
No wallet private key leak has been identified so far.
Deposits and withdrawals were temporarily suspended while security checks continued.
These are Binance's assurances, not an independent confirmation that every aspect of the incident has been resolved.
