BREAKING: NYT reports that operatives with Democratic Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Mary Peltola’s campaign were behind the effort to find & recruit a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent GOP Senator Dan S. Sullivan in an effort to confuse voters and peel votes from him.
Specifically, NYT says they have reviewed text messages and documents that reveal in summer 2025, a Peltola staffer received instructions from campaign staffers to find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as possible.
The staffer complied, going through voter records, and compiled a list. The operation “involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.”
Per NYT:
“The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.”

The only positive to Kane Wommack becoming head coach would be if he hired a DC that didn’t run this soft ass coverage.
Ohtani finally hit a homer last night, I got 9 notifications immediately from all different apps telling me he’s back. Proceeds to strike out 3 more times and they lose. Made me nostalgic for his Anaheim Angels days.
Puts Ohio State over Alabama because bama “doesn’t have a road win of the caliber of ranked Iowa” then proceeds to put Kentucky at number 12. Lord make it make sense.
Week 6 provided plenty of shake-ups in what was the most consequential week so far 👀
Here's a look at what the College Football Playoff selection committee might do if the rankings were today.

I’ll be honest this is the best I’ve felt about Alabama and Deboer. But you HAVE to build on this, all of the goals are in front of you, can’t let it unravel on you.
Someone has to win and someone has to lose tonight but we’re about to find out how much more physical Alabama actually got this off season.

Breaking: the Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade WR Marvin Harrison, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
The team informed Harrison this morning that he will be inactive for Sunday’s game vs Detroit as details of the trade are finalized.
As someone who grew up in North Alabama and moved to Atlanta, I really didn’t appreciate how good the weather coverage was back home.
I find it ironic that the king of no distractions is releasing a documentary during the week of the biggest game his former team is playing during a time when the new coach has his program moving in the direction he wants. This should’ve been a summer release, IMO.
I honestly don’t care how you do it but you cannot run the same top half of the lineup out there tomorrow. 1-3 is a black hole currently.
