I usually make my postgame columns available only to subscribers. This one's free cause I think #Mizzou fans deserve to read somebody taking their side against a league that does its teams and supporters a disservice

Satan quotes Scripture too. Talarico is not a Christian.

Some people aren’t worshipping the Jesus of the Bible. They’re worshipping a Jesus they’ve created in their own minds.
A false Jesus shaped by their personal opinions, preferences, and ideologies.
That’s not Christianity.
That’s idolatry.

Two more points…these are real, private-sector jobs…not the phony, government jobs of the Biden era that we paid for with inflation. And these jobs are massively increasing productivity, which increases goods and services and helps bring down inflation.

Trump's economy is not just good, but great. Growth at 3.4% and unemployment down to 4.1% with today's jobs report. Inflation is higher than it should be, as are gas prices. Tariffs and war are to blame plus Biden-era hangover. But this is, economically, a very successful admin.

Speaker Johnson didn’t really do anything wrong, if anything he did about as much as he could do and delivered some tough votes. Never the less, as a leader he accepted responsibility for the outcome, whether that was fair or not.
On the other hand, Thune, who absolutely failed to deliver in the Senate and didn’t get things done, is refusing to accept responsibility and step down.
In a fair environment, Johnson would retain his position and Thune would step down.

Talked to hundreds in recent months who shared this sentiment. A wry Vietnam vet came up to me in the airport in Colorado last week and said the Senate GOP was a bunch of “Grand Old Procrastinators, the type I would have thrown out of my foxhole because they were more likely to surrender than fight the enemy.”
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV
"I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."
"THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT."
"They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it."
"This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate."
A fire was just lit under this man.
Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time
We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!
It is important in times like these to remember who we are. Be one of the 10 righteous men that Abraham asked God to spare Sodom for in Genesis 18:23–32. Politically losing hurts but honoring God only when winning isn't honoring God at all.
"Then he said, 'Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there?' He answered, 'For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.'" – at Greenwood, MO

Stephen Miller just gave the greatest closing argument to Vote Republican in the midterms ever:
“President Trump, since he came down that golden escalator has saved America. He saved America from a corrupt political class he saved America from open borders…”
“President Trump took a bullet for you. He bled for you. He faced life in prison for you and what he needs from you tomorrow is your vote.”
Masterclass, @StephenM 🔥

I have minute snapshots from Florida Election Day 2024.
As of the latest data pull, we are exceeding same-snapshot margins compared to 2024 - literal Presidential turnout on a midterms.
And it's accelerating - in one ten minute pull, we pulled ahead of 2024 by 5,000 votes.
An incredible last-minute turnaround in Florida. This is the kind of performance we need to sustain across the country.
Go vote!

Possibly the worst answer I’ve ever heard on this topic. Yikes.
.@AbdulElSayed says it’s ok for MEN to be in girl’s locker rooms.
Why?
“Well because they are going to find out about it on the internet anyway”
Completely unacceptable.

Dear Ohio Voters:
We have 4 Supreme Court justices in their 70s.
Do you want Jon Husted voting to confirm Trump's judges?
Or Sherrod Brown voting to block them--then packing the Court with leftwing radicals?
VOTE FOR HUSTED.

WATCH: ABC’s George Stephanopoulos tries to get Walmart’s U.S. CEO to bash Trump and claim the economy’s in a tailspin. CEO John Furner was not having any of it.
First, Stephanopoulos tried to argue turkey prices are way up, but Furner replied Walmart’s turkeys will be their *lowest since 2019* and the price of their Thanksgiving basket for ten will be $14 *cheaper than last year*
