NFT Collection vs. One-of-One: What’s the difference? 👀
You’ve probably seen both terms in Web3, but they don’t mean the same thing
Let’s break it down 👇
NFT COLLECTION
Think of a series of artworks that share a theme or style.
For example, imagine 1,000 Phoenix NFTs, each with different designs and traits. Every NFT is unique in its own way, but they all belong to the same collection.
🎨 ONE-OF-ONE NFT
This is a single, individual artwork minted as one edition.
Imagine an artist creates a digital painting of a phoenix rising from the ashes and releases only one edition of it.
THE MAIN DIFFERENCE
A collection brings multiple related NFTs together. A one-of-one is a single edition of a specific artwork.
But here’s something worth knowing being a one-of-one doesn’t automatically make an NFT more valuable. The artwork, demand, creator’s reputation, and history all play a part.
At PhoenixLiber, art is a big part of what we do, so understanding how digital art works in Web3 is worth learning. 🐦🔥
Did you know an invisible sculpture once sold for €15,000?
In 2021, Italian artist Salvatore Garau sold a work called Io Sono (“I Am”), which was essentially an empty space. The buyer received a certificate of authenticity rather than a physical sculpture.
People debated whether it was art, but that was part of what made it so interesting.
Art doesn’t always have to be something you can touch. Sometimes, the idea behind it is what makes people stop and think

BlockFest africa 2026 was a good one for us at PhoenixLiberOrg. ❤️🔥
From finally launching our website to meeting people, connecting with builders, creators, and having conversations with potential partners, there was a lot to take away from the experience.
One of the things we’re most excited about is the conversations we started at the event. There are some interesting possibilities ahead, and we’re looking forward to seeing where they lead.
For us, PhoenixLiber has always been about bringing people together through art, culture, and Web3, so getting to connect with people who share similar interests and visions was a big part of the experience.
We’re back from BlockFest africa with new connections, new possibilities, and more work to do.
And if you met us at @blockfestafrica or you’re just getting to know PhoenixLiber, we’d love to connect with you. 🤝💜
Happy new week, fam! 🐦🔥

Happy Blockfest week! 🔥
Blockfest Africa starts tomorrow, and there’s something special we’ll be bringing along with us.
The new @PhoenixLiberOrg website is finally launching. 👀
If you’ve been following PhoenixLiber, you probably know we’ve been working on building more than just another Web3 community.
The idea is to bring people together through art, culture and blockchain, giving people from different parts of the world a chance to contribute, share ideas and be part of something collective.
And if you think about it, that’s one of the interesting things about what we’re building. It’s not just about being in the same community or holding an NFT. It’s about what we can create when people actually get involved.
The website is another step in making that vision more accessible. A place where people can learn about PhoenixLiber, understand what we’re doing and find their way into the community.
There’s still a lot ahead of us, but getting to this point is worth celebrating.
Tomorrow, we take another step forward. 💜🕸️
