Democrats should play Kid Rock "Ain't Nobody Gonna Tell Me How To Live" anytime they take about abortion, or gay rights, or anything of the sort, just to ironically act like they misinterpreted the lyrics like Republicans do with EVERY PIECE OF MEDIA THEY CONSUME
When we say "people didn't get Star Wars", this is what we mean. The Empire IS America.
All these people saying "right wing rallies don't have the same number of cops as these college protests..."
They do. They just aren't in uniform.
And I don't mean undercover

Student protesters were right about segregation in the early '60s, right about Vietnam in the late '60s, right about apartheid in the '80s, right about Iraq in 2003, and right about wealth inequality in 2011. Seems generally bad to side against student movements.

What if I told you that military members aren't special and shouldn't have their pay protected any more than anyone else
Here is the video proof: Democrats could have protected military pay during a shutdown, but they chose not to.
I couldn't tell you why they made this indefensible choice. You'd have to ask @PattyMurray for an explanation.
Remember in 2021 when Biden gave everyone like $300 a month per child, and then it was allowed to expire and Biden was like "Oh well. Guess that's that"? And then we never talked about it again?
Good times
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
Can't imagine why this verse just crossed my mind.
A statement on yesterday's @HappenHerePod hit me hard yesterday:
It is hard to find a state that isn't actively trying to restrict a trans person's right to exist OR their ability to defend themselves against those who wish to eliminate them
In a world of Tennessees, be New Mexico

I can't help, but I can share
i wish it didn't have to come to this, but the situation in Florida is getting more dire every day for me as a trans woman. so if you're able to spare anything to help my wife and i leave this awful state, it would make a huge difference 💜 gofund.me/629dc9f3
It doesn't matter if he meant Transgender people or "Transgenderism". The end result is the same. And it must be stopped.

Your ideology will die in the dustbin of history, Matt. Just like the fight against gay marriage your friends pushed and lost.
Your bills will die in court and blue and purple states and the Republican Party will lose another generation of voters.
Follow your leader for me.
