🎮Cralon — Immersive Sim, CRPG, Dungeon Crawler 👉What it is: A first-person dungeon crawl in a crumbling mine shaft. You fight, loot, craft, and puzzle your way through an interconnected underground world after a demon hunt goes wrong. 👾Platforms: Windows on Steam ($19.99, or $14.99 on sale through Sep 16). A demo is available. We played on Mac via Crossover. It is also out on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No native Mac or Linux yet. 👏The good: •⁠ ⁠Fantastic demo. One level, about 35 minutes, and we would have played the next. •⁠ ⁠Slow, spooky, and interesting. Story and voice acting landed. Some of the effects are actually scary. •⁠ ⁠Melee feels very good. A little old-school weight, in a good way. We even crafted bolts. •⁠ ⁠The map is interconnected and readable. Quests are linear on purpose. They tell you where to go. •⁠ ⁠Organized, clean, and easy to use. Small studio. This would give some AAA teams a run. •⁠ ⁠It ran like a tank on our Mac via Crossover. Auto-save, plus a way to force a save. •⁠ ⁠Worth the $14.99 sale, and still worth $19.99. 💪Things we’d like to see improved: •⁠ ⁠More display and quality options. Windowed mode, resolution, an FPS readout, and easier graphics tweaks. •⁠ ⁠A few more contextual animations. •⁠ ⁠Native Mac and Linux builds. We got a clean Crossover session.
