🚨64 babies were victims of rape and sexual abuse in daycare centers in Amsterdam; one of these centers was located near a distribution point for child pornography linked to the "Zandvoort network."
The Dutch judicial system had been aware of a network producing images of babies being raped in daycare centers since the revelations made by Marcel Vervloesem in document 8257/01, filed on March 14, 2001, with the court in Neufchâteau.
Vervloesem reported information shared with him by Robert Jan Warmerdam—a transsexual individual active in Amsterdam’s sadomasochistic scene—who was an acquaintance of Marc Dutroux. On one occasion, Jan Warmerdam met with Dutroux to discuss the kidnapping of six girls and the murder of four of them; Dutroux told him about a daycare center that lacked video surveillance, where babies were drugged and sexually exploited.
The Dutch judicial system reopened the case of Robert Mikelson, an 18-year-old Latvian man who, in September 2002, was placed in a preschool in Heidelberg, Germany, through an EU-funded project. His contract ended in June 2003, when he was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography. After receiving a one-year suspended prison sentence, he moved to Amsterdam.
Mikelson lived with Richard Van Olffen—an associate of the organization "Martijn"—who worked as a bus driver and managed thirty websites featuring sadistic child pornography. Between 2004 and 2006, Mikelson was employed by the "Community School" (Escuela Comunitaria), which was renamed "Het Hofnarretje" between February 2007 and June 2008.

However, an arrest request from the United States achieved more than the European Union had in 22 years. Dutch authorities ordered the arrest of Robert Mikelson on December 7, 2010, yet gave his husband, Richard Van Olffen, four days to wipe the data from their computers.
The media refer to him as “the monster of Riga,” without explaining why it took them 12 years to express outrage over the images of infants being raped found in the Zandvoort archive.
