In Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, two Muslim animal traders en route to the neighbouring Sagar district on Wednesday were attacked by alleged cow vigilantes.
Even though they showed the purchase receipt to try to convince them, the attackers did not relent.
What the crowd did to them can be seen and heard in the video below.
After they were tied with ropes and thrashed in a full public view, the police rescued them and took them to the hospital, where they did not get a bed and were treated on the floor.
They were later referred to Jabalpur Government Hospital because their condition was deteriorating.
Subsequently, the police booked the victims under animal cruelty laws and later lodged an FIR against “unknown” persons for attacking them.

Most importantly, if you have ceased to be a government and become a "regime", with all the attendant connotations of the word, you need to be changed anyway. In fact, you MUST be changed. What's strange is that you are calling yourself a "regime" as well. That's a self-goal

Stunning piece about yet another old-guard, high-level, billionaire supporter of Israel who has lost faith in it - and in Netanyahu.

I think this reflects the view of many who fought to establish Israel/supported its creation, but at the same time believed in peace. Perhaps an unjust peace, clearly a peace on Israel's terms - but a peace nonetheless.
But Israel has long swapped dominance and control for peace, and it has taken quite some time for many of its original supporters and champions to realize it - and admit to themselves the direction Israel actually is going in.

A young driver from Kerala was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia. Ordinary people back home raised ₹34 crore to save his life. This May, after 20 years, he came home.
His name is Abdul Rahim, from Feroke in Kozhikode, Kerala.
In 2006 he moved to Riyadh to work as a driver. His job was to look after his sponsor's son Anas, a 15 year old boy who was paralysed.
Within weeks, during a drive, the feeding tube in the boy's neck came loose by accident. Anas died.
Rahim was arrested. Years later a Saudi court sentenced him to death.
His only hope was blood money. The boy's family asked for 15 million riyals, nearly ₹34 crore.
His family could never pay it. So Malayalis across the world started giving. Small amounts from lakhs of people.
They raised it. The boy's family pardoned him. The death sentence was lifted.
In May 2026 Abdul Rahim landed at Calicut airport, around Eid, almost 20 years after he left.
His brother said, "It is because the public took up the matter that he is able to come back home."
