Question, how would you measure the success of an Academy?
Number of 1st team graduates or Number of professional players produced (even if they end up playing elsewhere) ?
I’ve left out quality of player bcoz I think that’s obvious.

New retail wing in Fourways Mall, valued at R100 million, is officially open👏
• The name of this wing is The View
• Construction began: March 2026
• Location: corner of Cedar and Witkoppen Roads, Fourways Mall
• New retailers include: Pantry (they’ve signed a 10-year lease), Tasha’s, George’s Grill, Fournos Bakery, Nonna’s Riviera, Nossa Casa, Mangwanani Spa, Popsicle Nails, The Piercery, The Glow Theory, Petworld, Liquor Lane, Clay Café, WorkShop17 co-working space and others.
The new lease agreements cover 4 342 m² at an average rental of R201.80/m².
Fourways Mall has come a long way and continues to do so. Not long ago, the centre faced a seriously uncertain future. Today, with vacancies reportedly down from 24% to 6.6% and tenant turnover up by 61%, the turnaround is becoming tangible.
The View is an experience that shows how the centre is evolving its offering and giving people new reasons to visit and stay longer. I’m looking forward to seeing how this premium addition changes the dynamic at Fourways Mall and enhances the overall mall experience.
Nah bro, you’re being harsh on the guy.
How is this different from when he scored a few months ago?

- Narrowly escaped defeat vs Galaxy
- Played a poor draw vs Chiefs
- Needed a 0.05xG late dagger vs Arrows
- Saved by GK mistake to draw vs Chippa.
Sundowns have been poor away but I’m familiar with him now.

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso after his side's 1-1 draw at Chippa United:
"This fans, they deserved something different. It's like you invite them to go home and then you give them nothing to eat. Horrible, horrible conditions to play football.
"I remember that after the World Cup South Africa said that they would reduce the distance from Morocco, but no not with this conditions.
"The distance from Morocco will increase more and more because Morocco understood that conditions to play football, bring better games, increase the level of the players and allows the national team to get better.
"There is a hell of a job for Mr Pitso Mosimane to do in the future, if the best teams to play in these pitches. It's not proper to play football."

Remember when Coach Rulani kept the injury status of Shalulile and Ribeiro under wraps leading up to the AFL final?
Does communicating every injury status not cause the club to lose that competitive advantage (among other reasons) @MurendeniN2

🚨NEWS: Manqoba Mngqithi believes that South African-born coaches moving out of the PSL could spell trouble for domestic football in the country. 📉 🇿🇦
🗣️“I think it’s good for us as individuals, but I don’t think it’s very good for South African football because a lot of prominent coaches are moving away from the league,” said Mngqithi.
“You start to wonder what is going to happen in the next few years, because it is also important that we must also look at ourselves – our local league.
“If our local league has to depend on foreign coaches, because most home-bred coaches are leaving, then I don’t think it’s the best thing”
