Every week we're going to (try to) ask our devs what they've been working on during that week. Last week we asked the 2D and 3D teams! 💞 The 2D and 3D teams have been working on reworking both the model and the textures of the Amberberry bush, one of the first resources you'll encounter as you explore the Downbelow! Since this was one of the first assets we created back in the day, we felt like it could use a refresh. On the 3D side of things, the geometry of the asset was improved, adding more triangles, which gives the item more definition, detail and softer, curvier shapes. As for its 2D texture, the team found it looked sort of blurry, way less defined than the new sets of plants we've been creating lately, so the team took this chance to improve it and make it prettier. We're happy to say it's now up to par with the most recently created plants! Making assets more complex can often incur in performance issues, but this change was greenlit from the Technical Art department, so we can all enjoy it without worries! 🫐

Some attacks are stronger, and flashier, than others! Here's the first exploration for one of Kinu's such attacks. These attacks often imply longer cooldowns, so it's up to you to strategize around them 🧠
