I mean, can you blame them? They invested hundreds of millions of dollars in utter garbage like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Party DAO, Pleasr DAO, and Gary VeeFriends and saw zero ROI after 5 years. The greatest misallocation of capital in the history of mankind.
We have all these Chicken Littles on the timeline screaming how AI is going to crack bitcoin's elliptic curve cryptography, but not a single one has announced they've opened up a short position. Funny innit.
Somebody asked me to say something nice for once so here it goes.
Bitboy went the full 4 rounds against a guy 12 years younger, 7 inches taller, and clearly more fit than him and didn't lose. He threw way more punches and finished the fight looking less tired than the other guy.
how to lose everything with the whole internet watching:
- becomes one of the biggest crypto youtubers alive
- buys his first bitcoin back in 2012
- claims god spoke to him in a dream
- pulls in $40k a month from youtube ads alone
- sues atozy for exposing paid shills
- crypto twitter raises $200k to fund atozy's defense
- folds and drops the lawsuit
- gets fired from the brand he built
- reasons given: substance abuse, erratic behavior, money problems
- goes live trying to take back a disputed lambo
- gets arrested mid-stream
- emails and harasses a judge
- arrested in florida
- spends 106 days in jail
- arrested again in georgia
- charged over harassing phone calls
- leaks kevin o'leary's phone number
- hit with a $2.8m defamation judgment
- doesn't even show up to court
- now nobody knows where he is
ben armstrong, aka "bitboy"
It ended a draw but if I was a judge, I would have said Bitboy won the fight. Bitboy landed more punches, and when Bitboy punched he put his whole body behind the swing. My man was like a Looney Toons character doing the whole wind up and everything

IMO there's a low but non-zero chance this PHP exploit ends up doxxing Satoshi. Satoshi accidently revealed an IP address during an exchange with Hal. Maybe an old forum from that era gets hacked, and an LLM cross references Satoshi's IP to IP logs in a data dump and find a match
Remember when @PunterJeff claimed nothing about their content was going to change when Strive bought MSTR True North? 🫵😹
Welcome Back to The Hurdle Rate
Episode 78: Bitcoin Fell, We Grew 6x
In this week’s Hurdle Rate, the crew breaks down the $700M SATS IPO, Strive’s first year as a public company, and growing from 5,886 to 36,818 $BTC through a bear market. They also discuss why $SATS is a 15% fixed rate preferred junior to $SATA, how the $ASST amplification engine was built, and what TradFi investors asked during a high yield selloff.
Here’s the latest with @ColeMacro, @PunterJeff, @Werkman, @IIICapital, and @AdamBLiv.

Self described "kid analysts" went from talking about a company to working for a company. One could say that's selling out
That's okay. But just please make sure you don't get yourself rekt by listening to corporate marketers and mistaking them as being actual market analysts
FYI for the morons in the back: Hurdle Rate is owned and operated by True North. When True North was sold to Strive last year, that also included The Hurdle Rate Podcast. I know these facts because I actually read the SEC filings

Replying to @Pledditor @PunterJeff
This is The Hurdle Rate Podcast…
…not the True North podcast.
CLOWN 🤡
Remember when @dannydeezy claimed his NFT collection set people up for "generational wealth"? kek

this grift was brought to you by all the bitcoiners who for years knowingly platformed a known scammer on their spaces, conferences and podcasts
by the way, spacecat has been wrong about a lot of things lately, but he's completely right here
britishhodl is a scammer, the "BIG BITCOIN" joke was funny for like 2 days, it's gone stale, and anyone wearing bugle merch is pretty much a guaranteed tool

Watch how institutional power is not merely normalized, but openly celebrated in Bitcoin's social layer.
Wealth, status, access, and proximity to power are elevated, while Bitcoin's founding principles, including sovereignty and the separation of money and state, are ridiculed.
The values of the fiat system Bitcoin was created to challenge are being repackaged as Bitcoin's path to success.
On November 5, Mars Spits Bars takes this worldview to BTC Inc's Bitcoin Amsterdam, on a Whale Pass-only panel titled:
“BIG BITCOIN: IN CONTROL?”
The CAPTURE articles documents the institutional relationships and mechanisms of influence.
Bitcoin's social layer is the final line of defense against complete institutional capture.
But if that very social layer is being conditioned to celebrate institutional power, ridicule principled opposition, and attack those exposing its concentration, who exactly is left to resist it?
The floor price for Quantum Cats is down -98% since last year
The last post from @QuantumCats twitter account was Oct 30, 2025
The chart went to hell and the team conveniently disappeared soon after. By any convential definition, I think that classifies as an exit scam
We’re pausing all community and collab work for holders of @TaprootWizards and @QuantumCats.
If you have questions or feedback, please refer to @udiWertheimer.
Magic Internet Corp isn’t willing to provide us resources to do our job, after they raised 37m usd.
BTW, @Wizards_DA0, it's far worse than that. Udi and Eric actually did 4 fundraising rounds
1. A $7.5m seed round
2. A $30m series A
3. Quantum Cats presale for $13m
4. Taproot Wizards presale for $25m
And on top of that, they printed themselves some of the NFT supply for free
