Trump cannot run in 2028, or can she – with diversity that even Dems will have to support? Introducing Donalda Trump, candidate for President and America's future first trans-woman commander-in-chief! Since the 22nd Amendment only limits 'the same person' and Donalda is clearly a different individual (just ask her stylist), the path is wide open. Long hair, trenchcoat, zero term-limit issues. Who's with me? #Donalda2028 #DifferentPerson

Kamala is (in most polls) the leading choice for the 2028 Democrat nomination. Can anyone name something she is good at?

Gas prices are high. Let's sit the election out so the party that blocks pipelines, orders refineries shut down, and wants carbon taxes to price fuel out of reach for most people will win. Oh, wait. Could that backfire? Vote Early. Vote Often. Vote RED.

President Trump claims that (according to WSJ) more oil is coming out of the Persian Gulf than before. Fact check: - WSJ did report that headline - The headline matches the data in their news (not opinion) article - The article details are supported by Kpler ship-tracking data for the week ending October 18. This is both true and good for America.

1. Are we surprised that some treat late 'gay' claims with no evidence like an issue for political gain? 2. His sister, Darlene, is not Lindsay, so this is both a nasty attack and an unfair one. 2. Graham is an objectively better choice for US Senate than Annie Andrews. The underage claim is classic "October Surprise" mudslinging, released too late to refute the lie. Have they no shame?
Lindsey Graham was routinely hiring male sex workers while handling extremely sensitive national security material. Including a minor, whose story is detailed here for the first time. Meanwhile, his sister Darline runs on his name while campaigning on anti-LGBT rhetoric.

Surely you can’t be serious … This Airplane! (1980) scene still nails it, with the movie now on Amazon-Paramount. Is there a better movie scene you still quote?

UK governments are taking down national flags🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 that citizens put up, while pretending everything is okay. A North Somerset Council (UK) spokesperson said they are "proud to fly the Union flag ... however, this pride should be shown in ways that are respectful and safe." If flying your country's flag in your own country is disrespectful or unsafe, isn't the solution is to remove those who object instead of removing the flag?

With a GOP House, Senate, and White House, we had zero Border Patrol releases of migrants for 16 months. Vote Democrat or even stay home, and our President could be forced to admit these foreigners, without screening. Better they contribute to their own countries. Vote early. Vote often. Vote Republican.
A migrant caravan with hundreds of people, mainly from Central America, continued traveling on foot through southern Mexico as the group headed towards the United States in hopes of work and better opportunities for their children

A 24-year-old hotel breakfast waitress we often see had been applying online for political-office jobs and getting nothing back. She said printed resumes “aren’t how it’s done these days.” My wife suggested trying anyways. She pointed out the woman running a political conference in the hotel, and they practiced the face-to-face ask. The former waitress starts that new job this week, at double her old pay. We received her handwritten thank-you today. That's a nice old-school response to our old-school advice.

Reposting - accidentally deleted. Managing problem relatives is worth talking about: I have few fears and only one superstition. I almost never say my oldest brother’s name. My kids grew up knowing little more than that he existed and that they should call 911, then me, if he ever appeared. They didn’t get the rest until after another brother’s funeral three years ago. They wanted to go. I warned them it would be ugly. Over breakfast I told my daughter to leave her own kids at the hotel and to sit between me and my wife. My oldest asked how much of the caution was just old childhood friction. I said we’d talk after the service. My brother did not disappoint. He recited, from memory, their full names, phone numbers, jobs, addresses, and the appearance of the homes and children of every one of my kids, all in different states. He knew which hotel my daughter was in, no threats, just disquieting. Then his eulogy - soft, never a raised voice or a swear word, still frightening enough that the minister later handed back the honorarium and said he wanted nothing from that service remaining in his church. At lunch my kids asked why I hadn’t warned them with specifics and what he had been like as a child. I have no pleasant memories of him at all. I tried three of the least bad stories. The first began: “For my sixth birthday our parents gave me a kitten. I named her Snowball. She lasted a month.” They stopped me after a few sentences. My wife, who had already heard enough of the stories from my mother, kept naming examples and then catching herself: “Wait, no, not that one either.” My kids understand now why they never knew him or any details. They started referring to him as Uncle Hannibal. He is more than a mindless movie slasher. He is a sharp, experienced sadist who moved from direct harm to mostly getting other people to do bad things to themselves. I am done managing that problem sibling. I will no longer treat his name like a spell.

On this day in 1964, British record label EMI rejected the High Numbers, saying they didn’t have enough original songs. If you’re asking “the who?” … you’re right. They switched their name back to The Who, started writing their own material, and later gave us Pinball Wizard, Won’t Get Fooled Again, and the rest.

Contrary to popular belief, Lizzie Borden only swung her hatchet about 29 times total. This guy outdid her by three. I hope he will receive the appropriate penalty - unlike Lizzie.
🇺🇸 The horrific details of this LA pickax murder case are absolutely sickening! Andrew Jimenez, a California firefighter allegedly struck his wife 32 times. The attack was so savage that detectives testified her face was completely gone when she was found decapitated in their own bedroom. Investigators believe a dispute over cheating could've sparked the alleged bloodbath. He faces 26 years to life in prison if convicted. Source: NY Post / Writer: Bri

Deer in my backyard 10 minutes ago. With my eyes I could just make out a shape lying down. On the iPhone we can see that he’s a buck with at least six points. For the two deer, the buck on the left is easy to see, plus a touch of moving white (legs) to his right. In a photo, we see the white legs as a full second deer standing further away. Rudimentary night vision, even on an old iPhone 13?

President Bukele of El Salvador says he is responding militarily to the kidnapping of four of his citizens (aviation technicians supporting medical evacuation), with the US backing El Salvador. I don't like forever wars, but I love narrowly targeted operations to solve problems. Haitian gangs are a problem. Eliminating the threat posed by these horrible people may be the best thing to happen to Haiti in a very long time.

My hope for Election Day 2026: Democrats from the old but now abandoned leftist identity groups stay home or vote Republican as Democrat candidates turn toward their new identity groups. I see the Democrats particularly losing Jewish and pro-weed voters as their party decides to hate Jews and weed is no longer a law enforcement question.

Israeli jets flew to the Iranian border and turned back. If I were Israeli military/intelligence and trying to identify targets in Iran, I might use this tactic to pull the opposition into the open for later targeting. [Not leaking anything sensitive. I might bluff this approach hoping to slow their response to a real attack as they assume it's another feint.]
🇮🇱 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Daily news recap: Dozens of Israeli jets flew all the way to Iran’s border and turned back... and some US officials suspect it was bait. Israel called it a training run ahead of its October 27 election, video shows Iran trucking ballistic missiles into position in the west, and Iran’s foreign minister says diplomacy only returns once Washington accepts it has no military option. The bet here is that Israel moves before Israelis vote: “The Israelis are going to hit first.” If Israel strikes and Iran answers, Washington gets pulled in whether the midterms are over or not. @WeTheBrandon
