We were focused on 7717 to catch the next leg, and we even mentioned some backing and filling before moving - that's exactly what we got.
Today we're in open range - yes, the theme from last week's podcast :-) The overnight high matters, and this morning's Fuseline added the bracket for it.
Countertrends that hold above 7740 are positive. Clearly breaking below 7717 and not recovering is negative.
0DTE: the character of the countertrend is the information.

"Price action around a test of 7717 will set up the next phase," we said yesterday. Later in the day we formed a nice triangle on 7717, made a little false break lower, and reversed higher. Now consolidating on 7740.
With news on the horizon, messy action may continue, especially if we mean revert around 7740. Settle above, and there's open territory. Between 7717 and 7740, backing and filling. Real weakness shows up below 7717.

A quick review: on the 21st, 7808 rejected price. We landed on 7717, and yesterday's map said below 7717 expect weaker conditions - check. 7650 was named as support.
Price is just points away from 7650, with 7626 on the horizon. 7650 is minor support, 7626 major, and the zone between them is in play. Stuck there or below without a recovery, it gets slippery. Hold and recover, and 7682 is the test - then 7717.
0DTE: the 7626-7650 zone decides the character.

We got the move out of the 7717 reversal, and the market managed to consolidate well above 7740.
If countertrends hold at or above the lower trendline, we can expect a test of 7808. But expect some backing and filling, or even a test of 7740 - it's a bit of a free-for-all in the open space between key levels. Below 7740, we're back on weaker footing.
0DTE: positive above 7740 and the trendline, but not without a struggle.

We are compressing into 7717, and unless the level's gravity is sticky, we should get a decent move out of this zone sooner rather than later.
Getting stuck below 7717 is negative, and taking out 7682 brings messy conditions. A normal flush or scrape is expected, so stuck below is the key. Hold above and clear 7740, and the party is back on.
