this unit has been used very intensely, and all it took is a wipe to get most of it off/out. Printed in PETG, will make a difference ofc what material you use here.
it's finally time to reveal my birthday gift to the community!
I present to you the RGR ezBuff.
A disc polishing and resurfacing machine, which can restore your scratched discs back to work.
This coming wednesday is my Birthday (July 1st), and as a treat I am gonna share my biggest project I have to date with everyone! ❤️
It took me countless restarts (lots of things learned atleast 😂), and a total of 7 years to finally get this made...
Here's a preview👀
Surprise drop:
SEGA Nomad battery, with full instructions and PCB files + links, under free use (even commercial!).

just had to make sure this statistic could grow 😬

files were released a while ago! Can be ordered through PCBway as well ^_^

I have done it again! I made a new and upgraded Yule Log demo for PS1 this year.
Please help me spread the word by sharing this ❤️
and finally, we changed the lock screens of our workstations to the following image - which was also rendered on a real PS1 (screenshot from emulator though for simplicity), with a hacked BIOS to display the Guerrilla logo in PS1 colours.
and a little hidden birthday message for those that input the correct secret code (yes, ofcourse it was the Konami code 😂).
for a bit of interaction, I had added a "firework" particle that shoots up every time you press one of the corresponding icon buttons.
We had a celebration party at the office, I took the opportunity to make something run on real hardware! An infinite loop of logos Guerrilla had over the years. Cycling randomly every 20 seconds (or press start), with a bit of camera animation added.
Happy 30th anniversary to my all-time favourite game console! I have been up to some cool stuff recently, which I did for @Guerrilla - let me show in a thread ❤️
SEGA Nomad Battery; USB-C rechargeable (play and charge!), back connector (custom PCB), and super efficient (90-95% range).
Will be selling a few to recoup cost (without 2x18650 cells), asking €25.
All will be open sourced too in case you wanna DIY ;D
DM me for interest

unfortunately the intricate detail is hard to capture in FDM, which is a warning I put on the details section of the printables page too. I printed it at a 45 degree backwards angle on my A1 mini, which looks great on the inside, but needs a lot of post-processing on the outside.
Progress update:
- Re-routed the Turbonanza part for better layout
- Added grounding tabs for the cartslot board to add ribbon connector easily
- Added S-Video circuitry and solder pads
Bare PCB's ordered for verification, will post progress as I go!

Which brings me to the final part of the future plans...
A modern PCB is being created currently, based on the groundwork laid down by the amazing @cosam_the_great and @zaxour
Features:
- Modern Power rail (removed all high voltage stuff)
- Video output
- composite restored
- Turbonanza built-in
- Brightness wheel replaced with selection wheel for RGBDRV OSD
The plan is to have all/most components placed, just the HucXXXX IC's and ram to be moved!
Which brings me to the final part of the future plans...
