🏈 LANDON VANCE — BACK-TO-BACK 1,000-YARD SEASONS! 🏈 Let that sink in! 💪 Landon has officially put together back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and currently sits at 1,252 yards this season, just 300 yards away from the South Point single-season rushing record! 🔥 But the numbers only tell part of the story. What Landon showed on the final play of our last game tells you everything you need to know about the young man he is. With the game on the line and the opportunity to add to his individual stats, Landon broke through for a first down and had the chance to score. He could have easily taken it to the house, potentially breaking the single-game rushing record and adding to his single-season total. Instead, he made the smart play, slid down, and helped us run out the clock so we could finish the game in victory formation. 🏆 That’s TEAM FIRST. That’s CHARACTER. THAT’S A CLASS ACT! Records are great. Stats are impressive. But the way you carry yourself, the decisions you make, and the way you put your team ahead of yourself say so much more about who you are. Landon is a special player, but more importantly, he’s a young man who understands what it means to be part of something bigger than himself. Congratulations, Landon! Keep grinding, keep leading, and keep being the kind of teammate every coach wants in his locker room. The records will take care of themselves. The character you show along the way is what truly matters. 🔵🟡 POINTER PRIDE! ONE TEAM. ONE BEAT. 🟡🔵

Just lock in and handle your responsibility, because when every man does his job, we become unstoppable. We’re not chasing average. We’re not showing up just to get by. We’re building something SPECIAL. Brick by brick. Day by day. It’s early mornings. It’s late nights. It’s pushing past limits you didn’t think you had. Energy is different. Mindset is different. THIS TEAM IS DIFFERENT. Accountability. Effort. Discipline. That’s the standard. So when you step in that weight room… BRING THE JUICE. BRING THE ENERGY. BRING YOUR BEST. Because where we’re headed… EVERYTHING matters. NO DAYS OFF. DO YOUR JOB. STACK DAYS. BELIEVE. 🔥

2X DAWG OF THE WEEK GOT THAT DAWG IN ME! Some athletes talk about the work… others live it every single day. Shoutout to Dom Pegram (Class of 2028) a 2X Dawg of the Week who continues to prove what commitment and toughness look like. Being a two-sport athlete in the same season isn’t easy. Dom puts in the work on the track, then shows up to the weight room ready to grind with his teammates. No excuses. No slowing down. Just showing up and getting better. That’s what being a DAWG is all about. It’s about discipline when nobody’s watching. It’s about stacking days and trusting the process. It’s about pushing yourself to be better for your team, your school, and your community. Dom doesn’t know how to hit the brakes, and that’s exactly the mentality we’re building at South Point Football. Relentless effort. Relentless belief. Relentless pursuit of greatness. Keep grinding, Dom. The work you’re putting in now will pay off. DRIVE FOR 50 One Team. One Beat. BELIEVE
