Oh hells. They had been half asleep at their station but unfortunately duty calls.

"I'll get Philippe to put more vitamin C in your food."

They attached Corviknight's Pokeball back to their belt, throwing a text to Philippe letting him know the boss would be away for a bit longer.
"Anything crazy happen on your time off?"
"He took care of most of it. Some of it does unfortunately require your approval."
But that was a problem for later.
"How kind of you! I wouldn't dare ask you to start working without caffeine. So! Are we walking, getting a taxi, or letting Corviknight fly us there?"
"Nuh-uh. There's a mountain of paperwork in your office with your name on it, mister."
A slight pause sat between them before Seraph gave him a shit-eating grin.
"Unless you wanted to go grab a coffee at that nice cafe. You know, the one out by zone 17?"
"Mhmmm. I think you're just married to your job."
Seraph raised an eyebrow before stretching out, pulling a pokeball from their belt.
"If only Corviknight was a good matchup. I'd take it on myself."
"Ever the workaholic, our boss." They all but scoffed.
"There was another report of the Alpha Pyroar causing issues in area 17, but truly? When is it not.."
"You seem stressed still. Not enough vacation?"
They chuckled quietly, rolling their eyes.
"It was fine, as ever. Nothing much to report. Philippe is exceptional at handling things while you're away."

Also, I have officially dropped out of the NTE creator program. They never disclosed or told us of their AI usage (still haven't), and I cannot, nor want to, be part of anything that uses GEN AI. The game could've been great.
