You don't want the social butterfly to govern you. The constant (and only) criticism of DeSantis was that he doesn't pass "the beer test."
Good.
GOP "consultants" & "advisors" were literally complaining because he doesn't drink at the hotel bar during Republican conventions. Oh, you mean he wasn't getting boozed up and rubbing elbows with a bunch of greasy lobbyists? He wasn't playing nice with a bunch of fake conservatives who are more concerned about going viral on TikTok than they are about actually working for their constituents?
Sounds great.
Why on Earth would you want to elect an incompetent, morally-bankrupt retard who just happens to have the gift of gab? You should care about one thing when it comes to politics:

Unfortunately, he allowed Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan advise him back then, when Americans knew how RINO’ish those two were back then. So there advise made him look like a fool.
But now, his confidence is back … “I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."

Democrat Eileen Laubacher leads Representative Lauren Boebert by 3,069 votes, 48.8% to 47.9%, in a seat Trump carried by more than 18. The race is still uncalled.
- Boebert won this seat by about 11 points in 2024
- Laubacher raised $13.7 million to Boebert's $1.2 million
- Colorado's 4th elected a Democrat once in the modern era

🚨 Election alert: Florida's governor race just got decided by 1.3 points
Byron Donalds beat David Jolly 50.0% to 48.7%, about 108,000 votes. Governor Ron DeSantis won the same office by more than 19 points in 2022.
- Senator Ashley Moody held her seat by about 2.9 points
- Florida still has the only Republican-run big-state government
- Trump carried Florida by double digits in 2024
Florida didn't stand a chance without DeSantis at the helm.
Maybe someone should run a campaign on being the president who ENDS this tradition.

- California left 26,000 high-risk Medi-Cal providers uninvestigated. They billed $12 billion.
- New York paid $1.37 billion on 10.8 million pharmacy claims filed with expired billing IDs.
- Massachusetts ran $700 million in migrant shelter payments with overpayments and "improper and unlawful" no-bid contracts under Healey.
- Mississippi has clawed back about $1.5 million of $96.3 million in misspent welfare. Less than 2 cents on the dollar.
- Colorado made $77.8 million in improper Medicaid payments for autism therapy. Every one of 100 sampled months had problems.

$12 billion in Medi-Cal services tied to 26,000 of the state's highest-risk providers that California never investigated. The auditor flagged 28,000 top-risk providers, and the department left 26,000 alone.
One transportation provider billed more than $11 million, including a day that would have required over 3,000 miles in one vehicle.
California Democrats call this oversight.
🚨 Senate alert: A Democrat leads Alaska's Senate race by 637 votes
Mary Peltola is ahead of Republican Senator Dan Sullivan 48.2% to 47.9% with about 74% counted. Ranked-choice counting starts November 18.
