Corporate PAC money in campaigns is very similar to the fight to ban insider trading in congress. It’s all correlated. Think about it: • Members on committees of jurisdiction get PAC checks sometimes from corporations benefiting from the jurisdiction of the committee. • Then the members can turn around and invest stocks in those very industries that they basically regulate and oversee.

This could be very interesting when the non-redacted version comes out. Political consultants have never been pressured.
Republicans got decimated Tuesday but there is a silver lining. This will lead to disruption for the Consultants Class. Political consultants “fail upwards” and it’s disgusting. But AI changes that. We sent AI agents to gather the top-paid consultants and their records for Florida and Texas. In Texas, the top 15 consultants were paid 297 MILLION DOLLARS. Their record? 49 wins, 65 losses. A 43% win rate! This changes now. I will be holding some accountable and going to their donors. Your money deserves better @elonmusk

lol this must be the math that made @jamesfishback a failed investor and got him sued. $27,289 of the 6M Luna raised = .45% Less than 1% 😂 Maybe I’ll ask Greenlight Capital to pay me $28,000 to turn in Fishback’s location/ bank accounts. Can @itsjacobdane or @DanielHassanFL ask Jim Fishback to unblock me, I’m missing all the fun 😭

.@ByronDonalds’ priority is the people’s priority, which is to make Florida more affordable for EVERY family. He supported Amendment 3 to bring down property taxes after years of significant increases. His focus is on continued relief, insurance reforms, and ensuring local governments live within their means, just as Florida families do!

The consultant class on the Right is a problem. The consultant business cliques are a problem. The candidates are a problem. The Republicans use of digital and data is a problem. The donors continually paying these losers is a problem. The party must pivot & modernize.

Called it for APL in public 3 hours before any mainstream media or large political account. I had people asking us at the event “what are you crazy, she’s down by 500 votes” Nope. AI sees the paths hours before.
I’m ready to call a win for @realannapaulina Gray can’t recover in reasonable data. Congrats to APL for holding Florida district 13. Margin TBD.

The next First Family of Florida 🙌
First and foremost, thank You, God. This victory belongs to Him. For all these years, He has led our family on this journey, and He has been faithful to every promise. We are humbled by the opportunity to glorify Him in this new chapter. To our campaign team, the very best in the country: thank you. You ran a true grassroots campaign and proved that our party wins when we get back to the basics of talking directly to the people. And to the people of Florida: thank you for trusting us. We will do what we said we would do, and we will keep Florida the best state in the country. I love this state and all it has given my family. Together we will secure the Florida Dream for every man, woman and child, for my children and for every generation after us. Last night was so emotional, and today I'm overflowing with gratitude. With all humility, we take on what we've been entrusted with for the next four years. Whether you voted for Byron or not, we are here to serve you, to make your life better, and to make you proud to call Florida home. I love you and I’m so proud of you, @ByronDonalds.

Replying to @RonDeSantis
The map put safe districts into new voter segments and districts that the candidates didn’t know, in a midterm. It made Dems spend presidential money to hold the news seats & others Rs near those targeted districts didn’t raise to plan to fight millions, hurting them too (see Luna). It also energized the hell out of Dems and gave them the “ahh democracy” argument (60% in exit polls) The map hurt Republican because it the voter and fundraising math not calculated properly. This is why not rushing legislation is so important.

The Florida re-districting was rushed for political reasons. It happens. But for the people who rushed it to try and take credit for Anna Paulina Luna’s win, when they are part of the reason it was much harder. No. I call out BS.

There is a concerted effort by DeSantis World to spin his dummymander as a break-even; that had they not gerrymandered the congressional districts, @RepLuna would have lost and blah blah blah.
🚨 WOW! Gov. Ron DeSantis announces Florida Republicans' US Congressional seats are **UNCHANGED** from 2024 because of the map he drew Before: 20R-8D Now: 20R-8D (post-blue tsunami) "Had the old map been in effect, it would have been 18 Republicans and 10 Democrats." FLORIDA IS HOLDING THE LINE ☀️ Genuinely crazy how not only this but our statewide offices went straight red, after what happened to the country. Gov. Ron DeSantis constructed an absolute firewall and we MUST keep building it!

APL needs to play a big role in reinventing the Republican identity in Congress and winning it back! These are issues voters cared about this election cycle.
Old leadership in the 119th Congress fought me on some of the most important issues in the country: 1. Banning Insider Trading (most popular issue in country) 2. Save America being merged on every must pass piece of legislation (most popular issue in country). 3. FARA disclosures 4. FISA reform and legislation to permanently ban CBDC’s 5. Undermined peace negotiations ….They even snuck some pretty crappy stuff into bills for example glyphosate protections (actually insane) and brokered deals with @johnthune to pass Senate bills by waiving house rules because they didn’t have the votes from a majority of the conference that was fed up with the BS of the SENATE that FUNCTIONED like it was DEMOCRAT RUN anyways. …and then they would try to punish me (and others) for fighting with them/FORCING them (when I could) to do the right thing. For 4 years, because I fought on behalf of the American people, they intentionally blocked my legislation (and others like @timburchett’s ) from coming to the floor. So… let the reckoning begin. BTW: I am calling up my discharge petition on term-limits. I had planned to do this before we were sent on recess prior to the midterms, however, we were not called back so it temporarily delayed this.

The usual suspects in Florida will be mad at this post but it needs to be said. Byron Donalds performed the best on the Republican ticket. It's important to understand so we learn and protect Florida in 2028. It's now a target. Dems are energized. @ByronDonalds, a Trump endorsed, African American in Florida, sitting member of an unpopular Congress, and non-incumbent candidate defeated David Jolly, a white, semi normal, former Republican by 1.4%. The rest of the ticket, 3 sitting incumbents, hand picked by the 8 year sitting Governor, only beat 2 ANNOUNCED SOCIALISTS by less than 3%, 2%, and 1 %. We must understand why this happened. (This is no disrespect to those winners, they're great leaders I support, this is purely campaign analysis) Byron Donalds saved the ticket by bringing new voters in that likely swung or padded these races. We must learn from what happened last night. Seeing certain politicians take a victory lap after we just swung 17% from 2022 Gubernarial campaign and 12% from the 2024 Presidential is unacceptable. Oh and by the way, to a few on X who called Covid transplants "carpet baggers" who moved here and screamed they'd vote Blue and the "FLORIDA IS CLOSED" crew...... No it was actually the most "principled" institutional Republicans who have lived here for 20 years that voted for David Jolly. WOW. It's just math and we must learn from it to protect that Florida we barely just saved. 😅

Wow big reporting in @politico today as David Jolly has given his policy plans. Kim Leonard from Politico asked how he would fund one of his key programs: a 30% raise for public school teachers. His full answer is below. TLDR: - He will issue billions in bonds. - Try to pass a Constitutional amendment. - When that fails, he will RAISE taxes on things like Tourism. - He will spend the money up front, before finding the budget for it. This plan is the cousin to what JB Pritzker recently passed in Illinois. Jolly, David’s plan for Florida seems to be to follow the Illinois playbook.
