Out with the old, in with the new! It is finally time - with just over a month left until Poly Podweek officially begins, last year's collections have been closed and this year's opened.

There's some alternatives being considered, bluesky being one of them! But nothing's for certain yet, and first we hope to see how big a gap twitter leaves and what platform would be best to fill it.

You can find the FAQ & Rules in their entirety at our tumblr: polypodweek.tumblr.com AO3: archiveofourown.org/collecti…… carrd: polypodweek.carrd.co Till next time!

That's it for now! It's still a bit early to say anything for certain, but so far it looks like everything else will be staying much the same as previous year.

Thank you to everyone who voted, hope you keep enjoying treats in next year's fest as well. As always, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the current way treats are run, they'd be most welcome C:

Now for some better news! According to the polls conducted after the end of this year's event, the addition of treats has been overwhelmingly well received, which is reason enough to keep them around😄

For at least one more year the account will still be used to deliver bigger news, but everything else will be moved entirely to tumblr and AO3. Hopefully the impact of this decision will be minimal, still, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Unfortunately we're starting this announcement with some regrettable news. After careful consideration it's been decided that Poly Podweek will slowly begin moving away from twitter.

Welcome back - for the third time! First, the obvious - Poly Podweek is coming back for another year! This time with a fresh futuristic look 😎 And in the spirit of the new look, there’s once again been a couple of changes.
Poly Podweek 2025 written in neon pink and yellow, in a combination of futuristic fonts, lays on a dark blue, nearly black background. Underneath is the Poly Podweek logo - two microphones forming a heart, connected by the infinity symbol - is rendered in 3D. The microphones are metallic blue and the infinity symbol looks like a fluorescent pink neon light.

On that note, during this year's fest we came together to create 37 hours and 8 minutes worth of podfic. 37 hours! And what more is there to do now, than to sit back and enjoy all the wonderful poly podfic we've over the past two weeks =D

Haikyuu fans have set a different kind of record, however, contributing 11 hours and 21 minutes worth of podfic and making up for nearly a third of the combined runtime. Impressive, to say the least!

Star Wars fans have once again truly outdone themselves - literally! With 26 fics, it's not only the most podficced fandom this year, but also last year by whole 14 fics!

Like last year, unique fandoms means that different versions of a franchise were considered separate, but different adaptations and parent tags were not. Eg. Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga are one fandom, but 'Star Wars Prequel Trilogy' and 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' are two.
