What caught my attention with @axisrobotics is the other side: who is supposed to spend $AXIS.
The latest utility design says approved sponsors can fund data-collection programs in $AXIS, while contributors earn it for verified work quality.
That creates a much more interesting test than token price at TGE.
Axis already has 229K+ users and 7.3M+ trajectories. Supply of labor/data clearly exists.
Now demand has to catch up.
If robotics companies genuinely buy task packages, fund programs and send that demand through the contributor network, $AXIS has an economic reason to circulate.
If sponsors remain mostly ecosystem partners running incentive campaigns, then the token is still subsidizing activity rather than pricing useful work.
That distinction is probably what I’ll watch hardest after launch:
Are tokens flowing because people want rewards, or because someone actually needs the robot data?

For the majority of prediction market users, the number one reason prediction markets are a more favorable product than traditional sportsbooks is the potential to level the playing field through better prices.
We collected 2,859 data points (real-time price reads) on the most popular college football and NFL games of the weekend, tracking moneyline and spread markets in the final 90 minutes leading up to kickoff.
The lowest-fee platforms, @Novig and @ProphetX, offer significantly better pricing than traditional sportsbooks. However, they currently make up only ~4% of prediction market trading volume, while @Kalshi and @Polymarket (US + DeFi) make up ~87%, and those two offer only marginally better pricing than @DraftKings Sportsbook and @FanDuel Sportsbook.
