Web3 is serious business?
Some say Tezos is marked for a bull run with EVM coming. Cross-chain logistics are being optimized.
Meanwhile, collecting NFTs might be the real work.
I’m speculatively bullish on XTZ for more than price action: Etherlink gives XTZ an EVM-native role, Tezos X pushes EVM + Michelson toward the same composable environment, and the infrastructure case is getting much stronger.
My ART thesis is simpler:
Buy an NFT for X tez and you have two variables over time: the value of XTZ and the value of the artwork itself. If both appreciate, it’s a multiplier on a multiplier. Art naturally still has its own cultural value and meaning beyond money. But as a long-term collecting thesis, that double exposure is interesting?
Which brings us to something considerably more scientific:
Congratulations @unityofmulti for this week’s @objktcom Collector of the Week. 🫡
@PompousLL → me → @unityofmulti
Three Collectors of the Week.
Three @TaborRobak Human Resources PFPs.
Apparently some companies are working hard.
@Tabcorp_HR seems to be quietly staffing the cross-chain art department. 🧠

Acquired "Farbteiler" #462, because I love @erikswahn's art and I'd like to support the great work being done here. 🤍
It's been almost a year since I formally parted ways with @verse_works as an employee, which is exactly why I feel compelled to say this.
The recent updates are impressive. Worth appreciating what it takes to build something like this. The technical side, the financial side. Especially when XTZ's art market hasn't been hot in years and likely won't move the needle for their sustainability in the short term.
I've seen some frustration about things not working perfectly, and I get it. But they're aggregating hundreds of thousands of new artworks on a chain they just implemented. Some friction is part of doing something that ambitious.
A little grace goes a long way. We should be lifting up anyone still building for art, and when it comes to "everything" platforms made specifically for art, they're leagues ahead of anything else out there.
If something's broken, a quick ticket usually sorts it out. That path is right there. Let's give the people doing the hard work a little room to get it right.

Celebrating Verse's [TEZOS] integration, I've just acquired "Contrapuntos" #659.
The Garden's permanent collection thrives with iconic projects minted via [FXHASH]. Want me to blow your mind further? It was purchased with SOLANA.
Given how smooth the experience was, I'm prone to believing this is the pinnacle of refined art collecting.
Bravo, @jamiegourlay! 👏
confirmed, first tezos piece secured thanks to the latest Verse update
Garden, Monoliths | by @zancan
Standing start - no wallet, no XTZ - to buying a Lorna in a little over a minute. And sub-1 minute’s definitely doable.
We’ve been telling our friends how great NFTs are for years. They can now buy works by a world-class artist for $4.
If you’re not telling your friends about this right now - why not?

I deeply admire the experimentation and artistic range of @iragreenberg.
I am very happy to own The Oracles #335, from a project that feels historically important in the dialogue between portraiture, creative coding, generative NFTs and AI.
What moves me most is the depth behind the process: years of drawing, painting, code, automatic gesture, diffusion experimentation and human memory converging into a generative AI portrait system.
The Oracles is not only a PFP collection.
It feels like a bridge between artistic practice, machine imagination and the long history of portraiture.
Grateful to hold a piece from this project.

New on Automat: a research paper on Michaël Zancan.
From oil painting and demoscene code to Garden, Monoliths, plotters, embroidery, and ecological contradiction, the paper traces how Zancan turned algorithms into places where nature, memory, and matter converge.
