🔱 GROK ROASTING OF YOURS TRULY 🔱
Alright @PopHemingway let's see if we can channel a bit of Old Man Hemingway himself to roast you, shall we?
First off, your X posts are like a fine wine — if that wine was made from the grapes of Trump's vineyard in 2024. You've got more hashtags than a social media manager with a deadline. #PatriotsUnite, #Trump2024Victory — it's like you're trying to start a new digital religion, and the congregation is all MAGA hats and follow-back requests.
You're out here tweeting like you're the Ernest Hemingway of Twitter, but instead of "The Old Man and the Sea," your saga seems to be "The Old Man and the Retweet." Following and asking for follow-backs with such fervor, one would think you're trying to build an army, not a social media following.
And those interactions with other users — it's like watching a digital version of a Hemingway character, if he were less about existential angst and more about existential hashtags. Your condolence posts are as heartfelt as a telegram from Papa Hemingway himself: short, to the point, and somehow still managing to include a plea for follows.
Lastly, your enthusiasm for Donald Trump's presidency is almost as legendary as Hemingway's love for a good drink. You're out here proclaiming America's comeback under Trump like he's the literary hero in one of Papa's novels, except this time, the bullfight might be with reality itself.
Keep writing your digital legacy, @PopHemingway
but maybe switch from the mojito of follow requests to something a bit less ... repetitive. After all, even Hemingway knew when to put down the pen and pick up a new adventure. Now, go forth and tweet, but remember, brevity is the soul of wit — and maybe, just maybe, ease up on the hashtags.
@PopHemingway is a Hemingway fan account in the same way a beige recliner is an adventure. He took the face of a man who hunted, boxed, covered wars, and wrote like he was carving sentences out of oak, then used it to post follow-back spam and stories about Mamaw’s hoecakes.
The real Papa had an iceberg theory. This one has a 1:1 follow ratio and treats it like a military decoration. Half the timeline is “FOLLOWED / CONNECTED CONNECTING BACK CHANGES EVERYTHING” like he’s running a LinkedIn for people who still say “yesterdays”. The other half is folksy paragraphs about rooster crowing logs and historical tooth-cleaning methods, delivered with the energy of a guy who discovered emojis in 2010 and never recovered. He slaps on the bio, blocks DMs on sight, then begs strangers from Canada and Greenland to connect because “connections change everything”.
Hemingway would have rather faced a charging buffalo than write “Immediate Follow-Back // Let’s Connect” crap. The man whose namesake drank daiquiris in Havana and shot himself in Ketchum-Idaho is now a National Guard ROTC grandpa thanking 349 new connections and quoting DeSantis debate clips. Grace under pressure became grace under the follow-back grind. The sentences got longer. The life got smaller. The beard stayed. That’s the whole tragedy.

During the height of the Great Depression, the farming town of Quincy, Florida, was struggling to get by as crop prices plunged and local families faced economic ruin. Mark Welch "Pat" Munroe, the president of Quincy State Bank, noticed a surprising trend: even when families couldn't afford basic luxuries, people almost always managed to find five cents for a cold glass of Coca-Cola.
After reviewing the company’s underlying financials, Munroe realized the business was remarkably resilient and undervalued. When Coca-Cola’s stock plummeted to roughly $19 per share following initial market volatility, Munroe recognized a generational buying opportunity and began snapping up shares himself.
Determined to save his town from financial collapse, "Mr. Pat" began aggressively urging his neighbors, local tobacco farmers, and widows to invest every spare penny into Coca-Cola stock. He was so convinced of the company’s potential that he reportedly refused to approve farm loans unless borrowers agreed to put a portion of the funds into Coca-Cola equity.
He encouraged them to treat the stock as a lifelong family asset and to hold onto their shares no matter how badly the rest of the economy faltered. Trusting their banker's steady guidance, dozens of modest local families bought in and refused to sell. His conviction paid off immensely over the following decades as Coca-Cola expanded into a global powerhouse.
The quarterly dividend payouts sustained Quincy’s residents through bad harvests and national economic downturns, effectively insulating the town from poverty. As the stock split repeatedly and compound growth multiplied their initial investments, Quincy transformed into the richest town per capita in the United States, producing at least 67 "Coca-Cola millionaires" whose fortunes were passed down through generations.

Not a roar. Not a grand declaration.
Just a quiet "no" to the darkness, one whisper at a time.
I've lived that season-war, injury, loss-the only thing that got me through was refusing to agree with the voice that told me to quit.
The temple didn't save me.
The "never" did.

"The only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself."
I've been through the kind of hardship that makes you want to quit—war, injury, loss—the only thing that kept me going was refusing to give up on myself.
You don't need to know how or when.
Just keep getting up.

Nicodemus is an unincorporated community in Graham County, Kansas, founded in 1877 by formerly enslaved African Americans migrating from the South. It is the oldest and only remaining all-Black town west of the Mississippi River established during the Reconstruction era.
The town was organized by the Nicodemus Town Company, led by Reverend W.H. Smith and white developer W.R. Hill, who recruited settlers primarily from Kentucky. By the mid-1880s, Nicodemus was a bustling community with a population of up to 700–800, featuring its own banks, newspapers, schools, and churches, though it declined after a promised railroad bypassed the town in 1887.
Today, the population is approximately 14 residents, but the town is preserved as the Nicodemus National Historic Site, designated by Congress in 1996. The site maintains five historic structures—the Township Hall, St. Francis Hotel, A.M.E. Church, District No. 1 School, and Old First Baptist Church—to interpret the legacy of Black self-sufficiency and westward expansion.

Old Ruthie was a proponent of pedophilia. She advocated that girls were of age at 12. The world is better off without her.
