Holy shit it appears there may be a coverup happening in real time involving FanDuel and Rob Gronkowksi.
The account CodyBrownBets has been called out for being a corporate account pretending to be a person based on patents. The government links to these patents are now being used in community notes on Cody’s posts to provide evidence he’s not a real person (or is and sold his account to be controlled by someone else).
The Cody account denied the allegations last night and then once the post was hit with community notes last night containing the patents, the post was deleted [An attempt to kill the community note?]
This is a problem for FanDuel because it collaborates with CodyBrownBets all the time. There are allegations that FanDuel, or its close partners, control the account in order to artificially engineer bets from the public on certain teams to balance its books.
Rob Gronkowki collaborated with CodyBrownBets and some of the evidence of that has been deleted too - attached is evidence that still exists (for now).
It’s certainly possible Gronk and FD have done nothing wrong, but it’s time for them to answer questions about their knowledge and relationship with the CodyBrownBets account. Also if Cody is a real human, now would be a good time to finally show his face.
Let’s hope a former NFL player isn’t knowingly helping FD deceive millions of fans.

But he isn’t real. There is no Cody Brown, it’s a company based in Europe. A company owned by FanDuel.
Now posting with one of the biggest FanDuel spokespeople, in addition to the tabs he already has within the FD sport books app
And nobody seems to care
Why would they?
This is for entertainment purposes only OBVIOUSLY
Besides it being incredibly shady (and maybe illegal) to go and retroactively change their TOS, it might be INCREDIBLY intentional
Could it be because Verified Digital Limited and Fanwave.digital have an alleged link?
That link being the alleged original Cody Brown, Ruaridh Kilgour, who is a current co-owner of the Raith Rovers soccer team as well as director of Fanwave.Digital (as mentioned in the guardian article)
Fanwave, as seen on their website, has direct ties with @AndyRobsonTips (to my knowledge they own this account)
Andy Robson tips has advised bettors on social media to place bets either for or against, Raith Rovers (the team Kilgour partially owns) in the past as well as pushing bettors to place bets relating to B36, a team Andy Robson SPONSORED in Faroe Islands.
There has been speculation of potential match rigging, but that is internet speculation.
To my understand, Flutter (which owns fanduel) allegedly owns a stake in VDL, including or separately from their alleged partnership
If there is any truth to those speculations (I have no hard evidence to point one way or the other), based on the alleged partnership, this might be much bigger.
Pivoting towards how it might impact you, the reader/ gambler/ follower
According to the guardian article, “In previous years, Fanwave made commission by taking a cut of bettors’ losses.” The company that would pay them? PaddyPower, also owned by Flutter
That practice was forced out by UK gambling regulations, however to my understanding the US has no such rules against that.
I still have a lot more questions than answered, and as I said, this is for entertainment purposes only.

My point is FanDuel OWNING, it’s not a partnership, it is a business OWNED by FanDuel that runs this account, purposely misleading people is wrong.
FURTHER, the original owner of the company, who sold a portion of his company to flutter (Fanduels Parent company) has TWICE been involved in rigging soccer games, and he still owns a soccer team!!
