Another OPEN FUNDING OPPORTUNITY! Calling all swine researchers... We're partnering with the @swine_health and The @PorkCheckoff to issue a second request for proposals on research to enhance prevention, preparedness, mitigation and response capabilities for bird flu risks to the U.S. swine herd. Projects that demonstrate the most urgent and timely completion, provide the greatest value to pork producers and show efficient use of funds will be prioritized. Total funding available is $1.8M, with individual awards capped at $250,000 bit.ly/4rlqGvc

U.S. pork exports to the Dominican Republic set a new record in April (8,966 mt) and nearly matched that total in May, increasing 126% from a year ago to 8,518 mt. Export value was also just short of the April record, increasing 110% to $21.2 million. #USMEF #USPork
