Next year, people expect schools to:
-Catch kids up who fell behind
-Address pandemic trauma
-Keep kids healthy
-Feed more kids than ever
-Operate traditional/virtual/hybrid
All while receiving less money than they did last year.
On behalf of educators everywhere...

We had our first scientist’s circle in 7th grade! We developed our consensus models for our thermal energy unit. The girls were 📸 shy 🤣. @PortAllenMiddle @WBRSchools #7thgrade #thermalenergy #opensci #openscied

Meet the amazing 13 y.o. Chase Neyland! He started PAMS Pantry which is a room filled with clothes & shoes for students in need. “We do this bc we want everybody to feel equal throughout school. We don’t want any bullying to happen to someone who doesn’t have something.” 💚 @WAFB

My students loved the visit from @Entergy today. They really enjoyed the hands on and group activities, and the real world connections. They didn't know there was so much they could do themselves to conserve energy. Hope to do this next year! @WBRSchools @PortAllenMiddle
