I had to say goodbye to Chibi. He was just too far gone. My heart is shattered, but God will mend it. He will see me through this. It still hasn’t really hit me I don’t think. I managed to keep him alive for 18 years, but he kept me alive as well. The love we shared will continue to do so.
I’m standing in line wiping away tears from all the love you all have shown Chibi. I never expected anyone to say anything or to see this. I’m just a small account. Everyone really did love Chibi. He’s the King of the Good Babies after all. I have some of his blood and fur, and God willing some day I’ll be able to have him cloned. Thank you all so much for helping to mend my heart.

My sweet little Popcorn is going into surgery today, and I’m asking everyone to please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Last night, she completely lost the use of her back legs after things progressed rapidly over the last two days. Thankfully, she’s in great hands. I was able to get the same doctor who has performed all of Sophie’s spinal procedures over the years, and Sophie has always made incredibly quick, full recoveries under her care.
The doctor believes Popcorn has a 75% chance of making a full recovery, which gives me tremendous hope. ❤️
Last night, when I realized she had completely lost the use of her legs, I honestly didn’t know if I was going to have to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. I’ve been through this many times with Sophie and know firsthand how difficult and demanding recovery can be.
But I love this little girl more than words can express, and I refuse to give up on her. Sophie has gone on to live a full, happy life despite everything she’s been through, and Popcorn deserves that same opportunity.
You don’t give up on what you love. Not when there’s still hope. ❤️
I haven’t slept in two nights, but somehow I feel surprisingly energized, optimistic, and hopeful.
I truly appreciate all the love, support, positive thoughts, and prayers for my chunky little Popcorn with extra butter! 🧈🐶❤️
