Hey everyone, I'm Parker. I'm a solo founder of a very small SaaS. Being a solo founder is incredibly lonely and I've learned that the biggest obstacle to success is simply getting burnt out and quitting. I've quit multiple projects before and my current SaaS is actually working ($40 MRR 😂 ) so I want to keep the fire burning.
I'm hoping to organize a group of solo founders like myself to have weekly working calls where we meet to:
- Share what's working for us
- Work for an hour or so (cameras on)
Basically just a circle to learn from each other and get shit done.
I don't care if you're making money, just that you are committed and want to grow and connect with other founders in similar positions.
I'm going to create a TG channel for communication, and then one day a week host the call (whatever day/time works for most people).
Feel free to reach out if this sounds like it would be productive for you. No scammers or people that aren't fully motivated to grow.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes!
1000 downloads on iOS! I'm super excited for this milestone.
It took a lot of dev time and even more marketing, but it's starting to pay off.

Website traffic to FreeReader in the past 30 days.
I am most excited about the Organic Search and AI channels.
It's simply free traffic 👍
This marketing video is garbage.
I made it for FreeReader using Sol.
Instead of recording the screen or taking screenshots, it made its own poorly rendered representation of the app. Might switch to Claude for this
> be me
> pay $129 per year for TTS from Speechify
> LoseJob.jpeg
> realize that TTS is easy to build
> make it free so other peasants can buy bread
> smile.exe

My first internet money!! I'm going to frame this and put it in my room so I don't forget how good this feels ☺️
A single reddit post brought nearly 600 visitors to my site already today! Reddit marketing is the way to go.

I just released a completely free version of Speechify.
I was tired of paying over $100 per year for something I could build and host for nearly free.
Hope it helps you too. freereader.io

Do you recommend Codex or another harness with OpenAI model connection like OpenCode? What's the best method rn?

I'm not sure if my app will ever make $1 but maybe it'll win a launch 😅
