Interesting that Poku’s two best games (Preston and Swansea) have come when he’s been utilised as a RM in a 4-4-2, which the license to drop back AND come inside to receive the ball - basically given as much freedom as he likes
Very effective for someone so good on the ball
MOTM may have to go to Stephan. Perfect setup.
That defence of ours is a joke.
Varane is back
Kwame outrageous
Front two of Smyth and Kone could feed generations
And Pierce, please don’t leave 😁
Incredible first half
Full credit to Stephan. Got the setup and tactics absolutely spot on
Kone. Wow
QPR vs Swansea:
Stephan clearly prefers playing a CAM but Harvey Vale can’t keep on starting so I’ve gone for a lineup almost identical to that of the West Ham game
Cirkin is back but don’t expect him to take Kemper’s spot yet
Come on you R’s!!!
What a performance!
Can’t think of a single bad shift today. Defence and midfield, especially, were SO good
Can’t even think of a MOTM. So many standout performances
Onto a very important away day at Birmingham on Saturday
Come on you R’s!!!
Well, what a half!
Not 4-4-2, that’s for sure, and I’ve actually really liked the setup so far
Another 3 in the second half?
9/11 for a third game running
Probably should’ve read the Poku rest as well as the JCS one. Just didn’t want to predict something I didn’t want to happen!!
4-4-2 I’m not a fan of especially with Vale and Smyth as the wingers, but let’s see…
Come on you R’s!!!
QPR vs Derby 🧵
Think we may see the exact same XI for two games straight for the first time this season
The only things I believe could change are Vale in for JCS, Edwards to CB, 4231, and/or Mbengue for Adamson
For me, none of Vale, Kone or Mbengue DESERVE to start
#QPR
I am going to stick with this prediction out of optimism, but I’m worried Stephan may start Vale over Clarke-Salter, move Edwards to CB and play a 4231
I say worried because I really don’t think Vale has been good enough to merit a start, regardless of whether JCS ‘needs’ a rest

Great interview this. Set up perfectly from the start
Very much adapted to the league now it’s fair to say
This has got to be the core 10 for the next few
And then…
- Burrell to come back in for Kolli
- Cirkin’s spot no longer guaranteed
- Lamptey, we’ll have to see what his injury’s like
- Edwards midfield while we wait for Dembele/Chair to reintroduce a CAM
#QPR
- Gotta give it to Smyth. Was brilliant after half time. Again, shame he was brought off
- And then Kolli. Had some nice touches but also had some sloppy moments. So glad to have him back though
- In Mbengue’s case that was a mistake from Stephan. I said it when he came on, “you don’t bring on Mbengue when you need composure”, and he does exactly what every fan expected him to do; have a moment of madness
- Edwards and JCS were brilliant and so composed. That’s my preferred two CBs but don’t see Dunne moving out the team any time soon with his physicality being so crucial in this league
- Kemper was outstanding. Kept Bowen quiet the whole time he was on. Shame he was taken off
