Evolution tends to move at its own pace, but it's always in motion. No one can stop the future, even someone determined to bring it about. Pantheon Season 2 Episode 7. Criminally underrated show.

Can you imagine the cope that would happen with a China that is on an equal footing with GPUs. God, it would be endless crying. "They don't respect copyrights, that's why their video and image gen are so good" "They have fleets of human to generate high quality training data" "They have zero issues with generating new DCs" "They don't need to bribe communities, so duh it makes sense" "I mean, look at the recent Kimi stuff, they don't play fair" The market would be flooded with 10 Anthropic level models. It would be perfect competition with zero ability to have any pricing power simply because it would be competed away. The only reason there is even a premium token market is cause they can't compete at that level yet.

Update from management. After all your complaining about resets this resets that. Management has decided to move towards a Where Is Waldo-style game. Winners of the game can claim a banked reset. We believe this also solves the problem of banked resets expiring. That is all

Announcing Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5, featuring 2 new benchmarks and 3 upgrades. For the first time, the majority of the Index is built on private datasets The Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index is our composite measure of model capabilities across tasks reflecting real-world usage today. v5 is our biggest upgrade since v4 launched in January. With v5, 60% of the Index is now based on evaluations with private test sets or held-out answers. Alongside Intelligence Index v5, we’re launching the Artificial Analysis Progress Index v1, which tracks model capability over time on one continuous scale. New to the Intelligence Index: ➤ FrontierCode 2.0: Cognition's newly-launched private benchmark of real-world coding tasks, graded on whether a repository maintainer would merge the agent's change ➤ Terminal-Bench-Science: 70 agentic scientific research tasks, run in a terminal environment Upgraded: ➤ HLE-Diamond (replacing Humanity's Last Exam): a refined 1,000-question version of Humanity's Last Exam, split evenly between reasoning and knowledge questions ➤ AA-Omniscience v1.1: An updated dataset with saturated and public set questions removed, new questions added, and ambiguous or erroneous questions revised ➤ CritPt v2: a private, 40-question hard subset of CritPt v2, revised by the CritPt authors and run with a code-execution tool Staying in the Index: AA-Briefcase, AutomationBench-AA, GDP.pdf and Terminal-Bench 4.0 Removed from the Index: GDPval-AA v2.1, SciCode, and AA-LCR v1.1 Key results: ➤ Claude Opus 5.5 (max) leads at 58, ahead of GPT-6 Astra (max, 57) and GPT-6.1 Sol (max, 55): Anthropic and OpenAI hold the top five models. Gemini 4 Argon (high) is next at 50 ➤ The open weights gap widens from 3 points to 12: Kimi K3.1 Pro (weights not yet released) is the top open weights model at 46. Among released weights, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 (max) and GLM-5.3 (max) lead at 32 - 26 points behind the leader and below Claude Haiku 5.5 (max, 36) ➤ Cost per task varies by more than 13x among the leading models: of the 10 highest-scoring models shown, GPT-6.1 Terra (max) is the cheapest at $0.96 per Intelligence Index task and Claude Fable 5.1 (max) the most expensive at $13.04

I thought the X "promote" marketing campaign was funny. It did the job of getting everyone to post about it.

Introducing FrontierCode 2.0: our new coding benchmark that measures a model’s ability to go beyond the spec. Most coding evals measure a model’s ability to write code that meets a spec. With FrontierCode 1.0, we asked a new question: would you actually merge the PR? FrontierCode 2.0 is comprised of more diverse tasks, featuring larger scopes and higher mergeability standards. We are now asking: not only would you merge this PR, but should you? One key feature of FrontierCode 2.0 is underspecified prompts. Rather than including every engineering decision, prompts are deliberately ambiguous, giving the models room to demonstrate their judgment. The result is a benchmark that is far from saturated, with the top model scoring just 45%.

Liquid AI's LFM3 is coming 💧 A Liquid AI engineer just opened a llama.cpp pull request adding the LFM3 family: • LFM3-1.7B, plus a Base version • LFM3-VL-2B, a vision model (the PR says video input comes later) LFM3 mixes short convolution layers with sliding-window and full attention. The Hugging Face repos are still private.

Your OCR says it’s done—but did it get everything right? 🤔 In high-stakes workflows, even a small error can be costly. 🚀 Meet the MiniCPM-OCR suite: an open-source solution to parse fast and guard the results. Two new models: 🔹 MiniCPM-OCR 1.0 — SOTA OCR performance and speed at 1B scale. Compact, accurate, and fast. 🔹 MiniCPM-OCR Jev — A 2B decision model that helps assess parsing accuracy, with performance approaching that of Qwen3.5-397B-A17B on JevOCRBench. ⚡ What’s new? Small model, SOTA results: MiniCPM-OCR 1.0 scores 93.68 on Real5-OmniDocBench and 54.7 on OCRBench v2. A sharp goalkeeper 🛡️: MiniCPM-OCR Jev is model-agnostic, checking text, formulas, and tables from different OCR parsers. It achieves 93.6 on JevOCRBench, outperforming JEV-35B-A3B (90.1) and approaching Qwen3.5-397B-A17B (93.8). Up to 128 pages per minute 🤯: With DSpark, MiniCPM-OCR runs at 1.49× the speed of PaddleOCR-VL-1.6 and 3.62× that of MinerU2.5 Pro. The SDK’s concurrency optimizations further boost throughput to as much as 128 pages per minute. Deploy where you work: Day-0 support for Arm, Houmo AI, Intel, and NVIDIA, plus 10 more chip vendors through FlagOS. Ready for your stack: vLLM, SGLang, llama.cpp, and Ollama, with quantized models, fine-tuning support, and Agent Skills. 🔗 GitHub: github.com/OpenBMB/MiniCPM-O… 🤗 Hugging Face: MiniCPM-OCR 1.0:huggingface.co/openbmb/MiniC… MiniCPM-OCR Jev:huggingface.co/openbmb/MiniC… 👉 Try the Demo:platform.modelbest.ai/consol… Use the API:platform.modelbest.ai/consol…

Should the Dems take control of Congress Winners Probably Anthropic Probably Sam Altman Losers Elon Maybe China Anthropic will get the regulation they want, firstly because they are dem friendly, secondly they will be flush with cash to bri I mean donate. Elon will be called for questioning, Zuck-style. They have enough between DOGE and Starshield slowdown. Maybe I'm not out of the woods yet, and Anthropic doesn't IPO (mega cope) but I've eaten my humble pie. Next week is going to be interesting.
