Finally after months of clashes, injuries, the one day that week booked off is the day it rains (x many). Some of the @Prestonparkrun set up team have a day trip and climb Mount Nicky Nook. Guided by One Armed Bob, with chief photographer John taking remarkable selfies 👏👏
Want to help out this weekend? We are looking for at least 11 hi-vis heroes for a variety of roles - timekeeper, number checker, finish token support, marshals and barcode scanners.

Well done to the 411 people that ran, jogged or walked Preston parkrun this morning. We welcomed 48 first timers and 48 recorded new Personal Bests. The event was made possible by 36 awesome volunteers. 👏👏

We have a full roster for tomorrow, the weather forecast is looking great and we have pacers so far for 24, 25 and 26 mins.
The first timer's brief will be at 0850, followed by the safety brief and the run will start promptly at 0900.

It’s our parkrun birthday this weekend - we are 11!! 🎉🎉
We have just about enough volunteers to go ahead - extra volunteers always welcome though & we do have room for another funnel manager. Also if anyone wants to take photos or write a report then please get in touch.
