We were delighted to host Gary Player at the Club on Wednesday. A 9 times major winner, Gary was in fine fettle and engaged with everyone. There were many complementary comments from him on the layout of the course, the location and the superb condition of our greens.

Today in 1908, Tom Morris our famous founding member died. He is buried against the eastern wall of the churchyard of St. Andrew’s Cathedral. His grave is simple, typical of the man. As we approach our 175th anniversary, we should all remember his contribution to our club.
