This is a very well-considered response from Liz Ellis. I’d expect nothing less.

We stand with our trans and gender-diverse communities - everywhere, every day. Our movement is strong, resilient and united. What goes on behind closed doors on Spring St cannot change that. This Friday, reclaim the streets with us and show your pride. #TDOV23 #TDOV 🏳️‍⚧️

It's Trans Day of Visibility! To our trans, gender diverse and non-binary community, celebrate your identity today, and every day. But, visibility can’t happen with without safety. So allies it’s more important than ever for you to stand in support of our trans community.

Today we stand in solidarity with trans and gender diverse people on Trans Day of Visibility. We are proud to reclaim the 6th step of the Victorian Parliament, the same step that Nazis saluted to hate and bigotry. We stand on this step in the name of justice and visibility. #TDOV

On this Trans Day of Visibility, we acknowledge the strength & resilience of our trans community. We recognise the challenges that trans individuals face in their lives & we stand with them in solidarity. Let's celebrate voices of trans folks today & every day. #tdov #tdov2023

There’s just 2 days left to donate to the Trans Justice Project. Help build a trans-led organisation dedicated to pushing back against the anti-trans lobby and give our community a voice! chuffed.org/project/dqpl9ra0…

This weekend was special. We have to continue to share stories, listen and educate ourselves on the importance belonging to ourselves. So here’s my story… Spread love. Happy #pride 🫶🏻

In @ESPNAusNZ; Wrote about Aussie football and the A-Leagues’ recent pride celebrations. Positive, thoughtfully undertaken steps on what will be, and needs to be, a long journey. Because it’s important. With thanks to @tarynheddo for her words on TNC. espn.com.au/football/austral…

"The A-Leagues have shown elite sports what the blueprint for meaningful cultural change looks like -- and this is only just the beginning."

Non-exhaustive list of the work done with @PrideCup for the A-Leagues’ Pride round. Proper work, put in to lay a strong foundation for future progress that now needs to be followed up on.

In my final piece for @innersanctum_au, I look back on the A-Leagues Pride Celebrations. While I didn't get the same feelings as I did in Adelaide last season, I did get something else. theinnersanctum.com.au/a-ref…

Our @sydneyworldpride event hit capacity for people & kindness! Community 🏀sport can be an aggressive and overly competitive space where transgender participation is the afterthought rather than the goal; but not at QSA 🖤 Thanks to everyone that came along to celebrate 🏳️‍⚧️🏀🏳️‍⚧️

"I'm a true believer of: 'You can't be what you can't see.'" "As a young player growing up, there weren't many female coaches that I could say: 'Oh, I want to be like this person, I want to be a coach.'" "I never really thought about being a coach when I was playing."

Great scenes down at AAMI Park today for the A-League Pride Cup. Sport is ingrained in the identity of Victoria, so it’s only right all Victorians feel welcome participating in sport. We are proud to support the leadership of @PrideCup and @gomvfc in this space.
