I’ve kinda came around with my feelings on Return of Samus, but not as much as I did with Zero Mission
This is the only game I feel really suffers without a map and it’s way too easy to miss High Jump. At least the latter half wasn’t as tough
Also, damn, I got the best ending
As much as I love the modern Metroid games, reaching this ending again…
I’m a little sad that there’ll never be a moment like this. But then again, maybe that’s why it’s special
Like years ago… it hurts knowing what comes after…

Gotta get something off my chest, Deltarune’s Chapter 5 egg room song is starting to annoy me a lot.
Is the song bad, absolutely not, but like, the beginning segment of it is pissing me off due to how random it sounds compared to the rest of the song
A part of me wants to hate the second half of the game, but truthfully I think it was just harder for me to learn each boss pattern after Yakuza
Is it strange that I really love Super and did enjoy Fusion, but Zero Mission is the one that infuriates me?

Got to play and beat Super Metroid again. I think from all the times I’ve played this game, I had the most fun with this playthrough. Something about the way Samus moves and feels is just really fun for me. Plus, Zebes genuinely is a really vast place with a lot to explore
