Look what came in the mail today! Anytime I buy a jersey, something always happens and the player never stays with the team.
Just a matter of time before Quinn Hughes becomes a New
Jersey Devil!
You can read all about it soon on @RussoHockey column.

I cannot wait to rant about this issue on the State of the Address tomorrow at 8:30 ET. I am not holding back. #NJDevils
Being a #NJDevils fan means we’ll hear about parking lot parades and a lot of insults that start with “armpit” but the reaction of certain Canadian media to Hellebuyck’s comments has lost the plot completely. pucksandpitchforks.com/the-r…
#NJDevils fans are respectful and generally give players plus their families their own space and ask for an autograph or selfie when deemed appropriate. It doesn’t mean the players are not held accountable. Devils fans are always giving their opinions and insight while they channel their inner passion for hockey through social media platforms like on X/Twitter.
From what these Canadian broadcasters are saying, it sounds like Canadian hockey fans are pretty damn nosy and annoying with way too much time on their hands. Using mob tactics to harass hockey players, especially when they are with their families, in order to make them accountable doesn’t make you anymore passionate hockey fan than the average New Jersey Devils fan. It just makes you look like a complete asshole!

If this happens, I’ll be the one of the first to congratulate @RussoHockey and he should take a victory lap and rub it in if he shall chooses. I am sure he will be the first to break it and get the story right either way how the story goes with Quinn Hughes’ contract.
Let’s all be honest.. if Quinn re-signs it will be @RussoHockey who will announce it and tag @PrimetimeSamWoo on it.. that break isn’t coming from any other source than Russo… especially not some rando who pretends he broke LeBron

I’ve said this on the @LetsGoDevilsPOD for WEEKS. We don’t care about seeing celebrities or athletes in the wild when you’re in New Jersey. It has nothing to do with passion. It has to do with a. Respecting their space and b. Worrying about our own lives.

Chico Resch knows goaltending and the New Jersey Devils better than anybody.
Listen to his breakdown of the Connor Hellebuyck trade in the below link:

If you add Quinn Hughes to the current #NJDevils roster, it’s a better team on paper than the current #MNWild team with Quinn Hughes.
If Quinn truly wants to play with his brothers, the Devils are the only NHL team can offer that and this maybe the most ideal time to have all Hughes brothers under contract with Jack’s $8M AAV and Luke’s $9M AAV. Quinn will say the right things to the media. His feet maybe planted in Minnesota for now but he will be ready to leap frog to New Jersey on 7/1/2027.

Today I wrote about why I believe Connor Hellebuyck is uniquely suited to solve the New Jersey Devils’ biggest problem.
