Searching for all 50 @KilloughEagles yearbooks was no easy task! I was able to find all of them except one 😔 (there were no yearbooks during COVID). I found the cover, but there was nothing inside. If anyone has an extra copy of this yearbook, PLEASE let me know!!

Dr. John Bowser, Superintendent of
@AliefISD in the 1970s & Dr. Robert Schumacher, the 1st Principal of Olle! Dr. Bowser hired Betty Murdock, the 1st KMS Principal. Betty worked for Dr. Schumacher as his AP at Olle before becoming Principal at KMS. That story sounds familiar! 😉
While searching for the 50 @KilloughEagles yearbooks, I came across this gem! I found a photo book of pictures that documented the construction of Killough Middle School! Did you know Killough was built to look like a fort to honor America's 200th birthday?

A promise kept! Coach Courville promised her 8A @KilloughEagles
Volleyball players that she would wear a pink wig if they won district. Well..... 🏆💙💛
All of @KilloughEagles Principals minus one. Rest in peace to Killough's FIRST Principal, the great Betty Murdock!

Alief ISD is excited to launch the 8th Grade CTE Elective Quest at the Alief Center for Advanced Careers! This new and improved experience transforms the traditional 8th-grade tour into an interactive journey where students can explore, discover, and experience CTE through hands-on activities across different career zones.
Students had the opportunity to learn more about the programs and pathways available at the Center while gaining a better understanding of their options as they prepare to make decisions about endorsements, course selections, and future career interests. We’re proud to kick off this exciting new experience and give our students a hands-on look at the possibilities ahead! #AliefProud #WeAreAlief
